Very friendly staff. That is super important these days. Clean restaurant, and they have a large bar area with tables to eat at as well. Several TV's in the bar as well as an ATM machine and some Ny lottery game. The restaurant side is roomie enough. They do have a large outside deck, that's a great thing for nice weather. The burgers were made with fresh ground beef cooked to our desired temperature. They were ordered different temp's to see. It was spot on! For a local small restaurant, the cheeseburger was good. The sweet potato fries were not soggy and had a chipotle mayo for them. The onion rings were also made fresh and were very good. Coleslaw was good.
Diet coke was flat, but that happens sometimes. Fast service, attentive, and decent prices. Wednesday is mac and cheese night according to the current menu. Looked tasty! Forgot we had Lobster bisque. We shared, and it was tasty.

My husband and I stopped here for dinner we were really hopping to like this place but we spent the entire night just waiting around. We sat and waited awhile for a drink order then waited a while for drinks and to place our order. We waited patiently as the waitress said they were busy, we couldn’t see the other side so we just said no problem and waited. It was wing night so for an appetizer we put in 2 dozen wings, I ordered a burger medium, my husband ordered the meatloaf with gravy special and a cup of chili. We watched as people who ordered after us started getting food, and still sat patiently. Then my husband’s meatloaf came out, and after 20 minutes my burger and wings came out. My husbands meatloaf was ketchup meatloaf with gravy on top, he wasn’t a fan and decided to just wait for the wings and chili. My burger came out it was well done but it was okay, nothing to write home about. My wings were okay but I wasn’t a fan of the quality of the chicken. After at least another 20 minutes my husbands wings came out and they were basically just bones, he had like no meat to them. Eventually the waitress came to check on us and he ask if he could order a burger as his wings had no meat and he couldn’t stomach the meatloaf. She told us the kitchen was closed at this point and she couldn’t put orders in. He said okay no problem what about my chili? And she went back to the kitchen and was told an order couldn’t be placed it was too late. Even though we already ordered it. Which we asked and the waitress disappeared for about 15 minutes where she ran food and whispered to the bar tender. Only to come back and say she would take the wings and drinks off the bill but they could not give him the chili. She then proceeded to tell us that she noticed halfway through our order that the ticket got ripped or misprinted in the kitchen and that’s why the order came out the way it did and I’m sure if she had said that at the halfway point we would have said no big deal but the fact she never said anything, let our food come out at all different times and then ghosted us, is what made us go from patiently waiting to annoyed. The food quality didn’t make up for the service issues, and the bar was just full of people yelling (not our vibe). We were really disappointed in the overall experience.

Only one person working so things were a little slow. Otherwise a nice place with good food. Off street parking is a plus.

I WAS a repeating customer until today. They screwed up my order and tried to make me pay for the re-make. Food isn't even that great. I only went because it was close and convenient.

Poor Experience!
Went to get a bite to eat on our first night of vacation
We sat at the bar and got our drinks
Then it went downhill
We ordered burgers, salads, etc
When it arrived, Tara the bartender went to the other end of the bar with the locals.
We had no silverware!
We wanted atleast 10 minutes for a fork!
After that, I realized my salad had no dressing!
After awhile Tara came back and told me it comes with no dressing!
Then had to wait again!
At this point, the fruit flies arrived swarming around our heads and food.
My friend wanted another drink and more sour cream.
After another wait, Tara came down and reprimanded my friend, telling her that she had to take care of the tables as well.
She seemed more consumed with giving drinks to the locals than us.
We were very disappointed to say the least.
I gave 1 star for my friends burger.
Otherwise, forget it!

Parkview House Restaurant & Tavern offers a welcoming atmosphere where you can unwind with comfort, delicious food, refreshing drinks, and entertainment. Whether you're seeking a night out with friends, a cozy dining experience, or a family gathering, Parkview House has something for everyone at prices that won't break the bank.

During my visit, I immediately felt a warm vibe, making it the perfect last stop on my bar-hopping tour. The bartender went above and beyond by accommodating a last-minute food order, and I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food was. The fries, in particular, were outstanding, just as advertised.

While the crowd seemed to skew towards a more middle-aged demographic, and the music leaned towards old country and rock songs that I wasn't familiar with, the ambiance was inviting nonetheless. The bar appeared to have undergone recent renovations, boasting a fresh and clean look that added to the overall appeal.

Overall, I had a great experience at Parkview House Restaurant & Tavern and would highly recommend it to others, earning it a solid 4-star rating.
