The young woman taking orders did a very good job, and the older gentleman took the time to give my children balloons. The soft serve ice cream was creamy and delicious. The room for patrons to sit in and a place for the children to play was a wonderful idea.

We were visiting the area from Long Island and we came here on a Sunday bc of the reviews online and wanted to get our kids ice cream. The sweet young girl took our order two vanilla cones & 3 Oreo milkshakes. My two sons went to go play on the piano and little ride area they have in the garage part of their ice cream shop and the old man comes out and says I’m closing the garage doors! You need to go! Their online hours state 9 pm it was only 7:45 at this point so we left and proceeded to wait for our milkshakes. One milkshake came out and my son stated it doesn’t taste right it was all just milk and had a really bad chemical taste. My husband then tried it and sure enough he stated yeah. I tried it and same thing. So he said let’s wait and see if the second one is the same and sure enough it was. My husband kept trying to tell the older one who was making it to not make the third one but she didn’t hear us. He told the sweet young girl please tell her we don’t want the third one it just doesn’t taste right. ( didn’t tell her about the chemical taste he just wanted to pay for it and leave)She said sure no problem and she kept apologizing to us. My husband said no problem at all I will still pay for all 3 milkshakes! The young girl stated no it’s ok don’t worry about it which was really so nice! But the older women was super rude! Saying you told me I just wasted ice cream this is ridiculous and so obnoxious! My husband stated he was willing to pay for it and she just walked away. We ended up walking to our car and the old man comes outside and closes the shop and throws the sign outside the front at 8:10 pm which his hours claim they close at 9 pm! All the people sitting outside the shop who were eating their ice cream got up and left! Worst experience I ever had to deal with especially in front of my kids! I will never come and support people who are obnoxious and rude! If you want ice cream go elsewhere! The one closer to the main highway when getting off the exit better!!! Just wanted to say thank you to the young girl who was very kinda and sweet through out this nightmare of an experience. To the two older people learn to run a better business by being friendly and not grumpy!

Their ice cream is good, servers are polite and friendly, but they could improve their milkshake, so that's what I'm here to talk about. They could/should greatly increase the amount of ice cream in their milk shakes. You get only a hint of the selected ice creams flavor and no texture, probably not even as thick as heavy cream. Twice now I've picked one up to drag on while I drive back to Oneonta hoping it would last nearly half the drive, but I can't get out of the village without having them sucked dry because they drink like a yoohoo with a straw. I don't foresee this milkshake bringing bringing many boys to the yard anytime soon.
