Gabby Ray's Diner in Walton, NY, gets a solid 5/5 from us. The staff opened up early on a chilly Sunday morning, and the food and service were both excellent. No complaints – definitely recommend making the trip! 100% coming again.
Fast, friendly service. Interior bright and clean. Great breakfast at a great price. My fried breakfast potatoes were only lukewarm, but they were quickly replaced. Gabby’s diner is a jewel in this sleepy little village and it’ll be a regular stop for me and my family.
Wasn’t impressed with this diner and wanted to be. The atmosphere was cold and sterile like a hospital room. The food, particularly the potato salad was like commissary food, no flavor. I had a French dip and it was a ridiculous amount of meat. Service was slow given no one was really in there. Add some color to the inside, it’s so gray and drab looking. Add flavor not quantity.
