I'm relatively new to Walton ( going on 3 years ), have no family, don't know many people here. I started going to Townsend Street Market for my daily morning eg sandwich and found Angie and her family warm, friendly, and attentive. So, as I say, it was usually just breakfast, I didn't spend a fortune there. I couldn't possibly be one of ger most valued customers. Recently I'd stopped going there (cancer). After about a month of my absence, a neighbor knocked on my door to check on me, and I told him my story. Angie, hearing this I suppose, sent a HUGE care package including items not from her store. Who does that? They will always have my respect, support, patronage, and love.

Below par is being generous.Rude owner couldn't care anything more than to just get you in And out.Average sub on the best possible day generic chewy bread very little meat /cheese, almost laughable.......will say that the tomato onions and lettuce were fresh even though you could barely tell they were there for an $8 to $10 sub ,beyond ridiculous....... unfortunately, few are the choices in this town, but the sandwich shop at sonoco gas station is hard as it is to believe it is better.Very disappointing that a business that's been around this long would be thus bad..... seems like they must new owners or the old just couldn't care either way 1st time and last.... BTW the new $75k BMW they drive is very nice...

Our local go to sandwich deli, always a pleasure, popular with local tradespeople.
