Townsend Street Market is a solid spot for a quick lunch. The ladies at the checkout and sub counter were friendly and seriously fast—I think my sub was done before I even finished ordering. Only thing is they don’t take cards, so I had to run out for cash. Just a heads-up! Other than that, it’s a great little deli if you’re looking for something easy and tasty. Photo of half the sub, I was too hungry.

I'm relatively new to Walton ( going on 3 years ), have no family, don't know many people here. I started going to Townsend Street Market for my daily morning eg sandwich and found Angie and her family warm, friendly, and attentive. So, as I say, it was usually just breakfast, I didn't spend a fortune there. I couldn't possibly be one of ger most valued customers. Recently I'd stopped going there (cancer).After about a month of my absence, a neighbor knocked on my door to check on me, and I told him my story. Angie, hearing this I suppose, sent a HUGE care package including items not from her store. Who does that? They will always have my respect, support, patronage, and love.
