My friend and I didn't go to the Pine Cone grill but went fishing in the water directly across the street. It was a hotspot for Bullhead! In 2 hours time we took home close to a dozen Bullhead. And they were delicious!!!
Food is good, it's the only game in town. Not sure why they close at 7pm? It would be great if they had tables outside that they served food at, because it is hot in there sometimes.
We purchased a vintage Wanakena pennant at an estate sale as we liked the look of it to hang at camp. Having never been there, or even heard of it, we took a trip on the Harley there this past Saturday. What a wonderful surprise! Wanakena is quaint and beautiful, and the Pine Cone Grill was awesome! The Green Gobbler and the Grilled Flatbread were equally delicious and hearty, both served with crispy homemade chips. It was hard to pick from the many unique offerings on their menu....
