My last visit to Casa Ortega in Wappingers Falls was fantastic,Everything was on point the food, the atmosphere, and especially the service. Our server, Christian, went above and beyond to make sure we had the best dining experience possible. I really appreciate his professionalism and attention to detail. It was an awesome visit, and we’ll definitely be back!

I LOVE Casa Ortega and have been eating here on a regular basis for years now. The staff are so friendly, the food is superb, and the drinks are creative. All of the food is fresh and relatively light for bringing complex Mexican flavors. Taco Tuesdays are a great bargain at <$5 per taco, and you can mix and match as many as you want! Some of my personal favorite food recommendations are: the Verduritas Tacos, Rajas con Crema, Pulpo Tacos, Pescado Tacos, Guacamole Tradicional, and Carne Asada (the Quesabirria De Res is also super popular). I also highly recommend their Old Fashioned and Mezcalita.

Hidden gem. Honestly wasn’t sure I wanted to write this review because I like being able to get a table here, but this is some of the best Mexican food in our area. The people cooking here clearly care about what they’re making and you can tell they are using really good quality ingredients. Octopus and shrimp ceviche is outstanding, tacos, enchiladas, steak and mole were all great. Highly recommend. O and there making some really nice cocktails with actual fresh juices.

We ordered food yesterday to go and the food in itself was good but what I ordered was supposed to have three tacos what my husband ordered was supposed to have three tacos! We only got two in each container! We ordered four meals all together and two of the meals were shorted! For $140 I am very disappointed! I will not be coming back here again

Had the serious issue with food: I got sick after eating here. Also, they worked too slow. Nothing good I would say. Not recommended.

The food here is consistently bad. I have tried giving this place a chance multiple times because I live nearby but their quality has kept going down and the prices up. There are many better places in the village. This place either definitely uses fake reviews to attract visitors.

Just discovered this restaurant like two days ago and I have already been here twice. The short rib birria tacos are divine. The burrito was amazing and so was the ceaser salad. Cannot wait to come back for a dinner and try some of the drinks. What a great find and a hidden gem in the town of Wappingers.
