Sad experience. Hot & Sour tasted like it lost custody of both flavor and dignity, so it delivers confused broth energy. The Chicken Lo Mein came with about three molecules of chicken, which is impressive considering I paid for double. The texture was so weird I started checking for hidden camera crews (chicken is too heavily velveted, which makes it taste spoiled). Two years ago this place was incredible, but now it’s hospice care with soy sauce. Even the dining room was empty on a Saturday night, which makes sense, because everyone else already escaped. The staff were nice, but if politeness could season food, maybe I wouldn’t be mourning fifty bucks and my taste buds. Jade Palace isn’t a restaurant anymore; it’s a cautionary tale.

My husband and I ordered $65+ dollars of entrees and appetizers last night. The food was tasteless and awful. The mango chicken tasted almost spoiled. The food USED to be good and has gone downhill steadily. top it off, while I was waiting for the food I asked to use the restroom, and was told NO! I said do you have a restroom for the customers? The response was YES, but we are not opening it and letting customers use it. Go use the gas station next door. So if you want to have good food STAY AWAY from here especially if you want or need to use the rest room.

STAY AWAY!!!!!!! It USED to be good so I drove 25 minutes to do take out. While I was waiting I asked to use the restroom and was told NO! I said this is a restaurant, dont you have a public restroom for customers. He said Yes we are just not letting anyone use it.
Next, after spending $65+ dollars, the food was HORRIBLE. Worst Chinese food I ever had. We threw the entire order out. The risky noodles were even stale. Do yourself a favor and go someplace else, anywhere else.

I live about 5 hours away, but find myself in Wappingers Falls quite often. This has been a favorite place of mine for over 20 years. When I returned this year, I was checking reviews and was shocked at the low star ratings and unhappy comments from fellow diners. I was almost persuaded not to return! Thank goodness I ignored the negative opinions. I am vegetarian, and Jade offers an egg drop soup made with vegetable broth. (I’m OK with eggs!) It is absolutely fantastic! Worth the five hour drive right there! Ordered a vegetable egg roll which I found very hot, but delicious. My eating companions did not like theirs particularly. My main course was a sizzling “chicken” (tofu) platter in a wonderful peppery brown sauce with an abundance of vegetables. The sauce was complex, fascinating, only slightly spicy in a very pleasant way. The tofu was done to perfection. An absolutely outstanding meal! Brown rice was cheerfully available. This place should be way more crowded. I can’t wait to return soon and try many other vegetarian offerings. My friends were also very happy with their (real) chicken dishes, and hot and sour soups. (also vegetarian I believe). Please support Jade Palace so it will thrive for another 20+ years!
Food is very bad, soggy and unflavored. The staff are great though.

We are not a review people but I’ve to write this for piece of mind.We ordered take out tonight totaling $75 and incredibly disappointed. The General Tso’s was so CHEWY/rubber like, couldn’t swallow. The boneless ribs were plain SUPER DRY. Wonton soup was flavorless! How can a Chinese establishment ruin wonton soup?Worst of all was The “Crispy” Duck…rubbery fat skin atop four super slim slices of duck with a raw paste bottom.Horrible experience! Literally feel as if we tossed money in garbage

I had been going to this restaurant for many years. Then came Covid and the quality was horrendous. A happy visit to try it once more with takeout, All delicious and maybe better than before. Happy that I will once again be travelling a good 20 miles round trip to pick up my long lost delicious Chinese dishes. They still have the BEST homemade noodles and duck sauce anywhere.
They only gave me one fortune cookie. And I also was only given 1 soy sauce, I also only got the littlest littlest container as can be. I called up and complained to them. And I was told that they only give you one soy sauce unless you are to ask for more than that, And as you see there’s $15 fee to have $3 delivery

Just ordered the sesame combo and boneless spare ribs it was awful. The sesame sauce tasted like sweet and sour with sesame seeds on in. The ribs wrew chewy and rice is very bland and flavorless. It was my 1st and last time I will order from here. Only reason we git it from here in the 1st place cause my husband called the wrong Chinese restaurant. Leave it to men lol

As a Chinese food enthusiast I was under the impression that the food was basically similar but the JADE PALACE has no idea what shrimp in lobster sauce is (I have only had this about 500 times in my life time no joke) the shrimps were okay but the sauce was just water like the water that you just cooked the shrimps, I'm used to having shrimp in lobster sauce thick sauce with egg whites peas and what looks like chopped meat, but sauce I needed a straw ,sorry but never again you can only fool me ONE TIME.

Ordered Sesame Chicken Lunch. I truly tried to find an edible piece of chicken. Kept chewing & chewing and ended up with something like wood Pulp! Could not swallow. Ate some vegetable fried rice which lacked not only freshness, but flavor also. Disappointed to say the least. Wappingers Falls has numerous Chinese restaurants and all of them lack. Bummer.
They always get my order right, despite special requests, and it’s always delicious. Definitely my favorite and go to Chinese food restaurant in the area.
