What an awesome addition to the village. The lasagna was incredible. The whole meal was fantastic. Can't wait to come back again.

A complete disappointment. The staff — including the chefs — keep stepping out to smoke during their shift; hard to trust the food when a chef’s taste buds are dulled by smoke. Hygiene is questionable, and the dishes taste nothing like real Italian cuisine — more like frozen. Definitely not a place worth visiting.”

Great time at Nonnina's for supper. Cocktails, wine, pasta, service, atmosphere excellent. Quality ingredients, simple Italian recipes made well. Comfy neighborhood atmosphere.

Nonnina’s is a non-pretentious, casual atmosphere, upscale Italian cusine restaurant.

The food is excellent, the wait staff is excellent and works well together, and the food is top notch.

There is a separate bar area that does not interfere or interrupt the dining area. You can eat dinner at the bar.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND you make reservations/dine here.

Nonnina’s is a non-pretentious, casual atmosphere, upscale Italian cuisine restaurant. Great for date night (casual) or gathering of friends, but you can also meet up at the bar. The food is top notch, the staff (across the board - wait staff, bartenders, chefs) are excellent and work well together. They specifically ask if you have food allergies and they have gluten-free options. There is a separate bar area that does not interfere with or interrupt the dining area; and it looked like a GREAT group of people there. It's not a sports bar, so if that's your thing...this is not your place. This is not really a place to bring children (which I kinda like). This is more geared for the adult crowd. There is some parking spots dedicated to Nonnina's and some street parking. The Village of Wappingers has another great spot, and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND you make reservations/dine here.

Such a welcome addition to the village! The decor and atmosphere is very cozy and incredibly thought out given such a small space. Food and drinks were delicious GM Connor and Chef Ralph checked on us several times while my party of 7 celebrated the holidays . Service was friendly and attentive however more focus on bussing would be key. Can’t wait to go back!

A welcome addition to Wappingers Falls.

Atmosphere: Clean, calm, and inviting. Great for a date or small party dinner, but doesn't feel cramped. Italian theme is well kept throughout, you can tell the opening of Nonnina's was well planned.

Service: Pretty solid for the 2nd night they were open. Food came very quickly despite a small kitchen and server was attentive. I wouldn't say over the top excellent, as it seemed there was still some inexperience amongst the staff, but that'll get ironed out pretty quickly.

Food: We ordered The Fifth Course(excellent), Dolce Limone(excellent), La Citta Eterna(well balanced but slightly one note), and the Fico & Balsamic for drinks. For the Fico & Balsamic, you really need to love Balsamic. I love a good Mocktail, but I think my first real criticism is that many restaurants tend to add them to their menu without putting as much thought into them as they do Cocktails, and this time it shows. Balsamic is a strong flavor and fig is very subtle, so the balance is hard to strike, but without the added texture from a spirit, this drink fell very flat.

For apps we had the Croquette's and The Cougar flatbread. Grandma's Croquette's were perfect and, in my opinion, great value. The Cougar was really very good as well, I just think the Pinsas should probably be priced a couple dollars less to fit in between apps & pastas more.

For our mains we ordered the Kale Caesar(excellent, fresh, and great value) and the Pappardelle. The pasta was very clearly homemade and of great quality. It was an enjoyable dish that I felt didn't give each component its own room to be the star. Meaning, the pasta was great, but there was a lot piled on that distracted from it. Meanwhile, the Boar was tender and rich, but the flavor was slightly drowned out by the sauce. And the orange hazelnut crumble is a great idea, but gets over powered by the Boar, sauce, and pasta itself. There's a perfect balance in there somewhere, and all the pieces are there and very tasty, but it's just a tad off from being excellent.

We ordered the cannoli trio for dessert. While we enjoyed them, it was immediately noticeable that we weren't getting an authentic Italian cannoli experience. Which is fine, but it's still a little disappointing that a lot of Italian restaurants don't want to take the risk of offering a fresh cannoli for dessert. I'm sure Nonnina's doesn't have the space to offer too many dessert options, so I don't think I'll ever truly be satisfied with this course here, but that doesn't mean it's not enjoyable.

Overall: Nonnina's is a welcome new take on Italian cuisine that separates itself well from a traditional red sauce joint. It's elevated, it's creative, but there's just a tiny sense of authenticity in the food that's still to be desired. I will definitely be back, and I will recommend it to folks looking for Italian food, but I'll probably be pretty selective with what I'd suggest from the menu. Either way, I'm looking forward to where this team takes things moving forward!

One of the best meals I've had in a long time. The antipast was beautifully arranged and marinated to perfection. And don't even get me started on the homemade pasta!! Just like grandmas home cooking. Don't forget the pistachio cheesecake. Felt right at home, perfect atmosphere. Can't wait till spring on the patio.

Nonnina’s hits the balance of warm, inviting, and cozy while also offering food that was thoughtfully designed and exquisitely prepared. The kale ceasar salad and the eggplant gnocchi were to die for. A five star dining moment in the heart of the village of Wappingers.

Last night's dinner at Nonnina's in Wappingers was outstanding❣️ Marjorie and Brendan have proven their expertise, once again, with the creation of another exceptional restaurant. The food, the drinks, the desserts, the atmosphere, all top notch! I highly recommend you go check them out for yourself when they officially open their doors next week. 🍝🍨🍷

Incredible food in the Village of Wappingers with also provides a non-pretentious, home like environment. Very happy for this much needed, new addition to the village. Not to sound cliche but, "Run, don’t walk to this place!"
