Agave y Maiz serves authentic Mexican food, not Tex Mex. The food is delicious, outstanding, and absolutely fantastic, on par with California and NYC. The menu features good tacos, shredded beef tacos, chicken taquitos dorados, Taquitos Dorados, shrimp fajitas, a chicken burrito, and good wet burritos. Their guacamole is the best, with chunks of avocado and not a soupy mess. The salsa has just the right amount of heat and comes with good chips and tortilla chips. Everything is superb, absolutely delicious, super fresh, and made with authentic ingredients. It is the best Mexican food in town.
