Joanne made organizing and hosting a baby shower from out of state much easier. The tea party decor reduced the need to bring lots of extra decorations. The flow of food: scones, tea sandwiches, then desserts allowed a relaxed incorporation of games. Everyone had fun and even the guys left full as the food was very tasty and the teas delicious too. She also was very accommodating for the dietary needs of our special needs nephew. Overall a wonderful tea event!
This was a great place. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was soo cute. The service was perfect. Highly recommend !
I’ve been wanting to go to Charlotte’s Tea Room for a while and finally got the chance! Reservations are recommended and are pretty simple to make. My friend and I got the deluxe tea for two and it was worth every penny! The scone alone could have been its own meal. Service and atmosphere were impeccable. Highly recommend.
First time I went here we went in randomly and there were two other tables occupied but otherwise empty. It was good. We really liked the experience, tea, food.
Called back a few months later to ask if they had availability and as always, it’s not what you say it’s how you say it. The woman said they take reservations “months in advance” and was nasty and rude the way she said it for no reason. Taking reservations months in advance doesn’t mean you’re booked months in advance, in fact the parking lot is usually empty. Now have no desire to return.
Nice place our kids booked this place for there mom and she loved it, nice staff
We visit many Tearooms. Won't go back to this one. The scones were the worst - heavy and doughy, and clotted cream was an add on option, not included. The sandwiches weren't pretty and there wasn't a variety on the Queen's tea, it only came with 1 choice. Even the tea was weak and made with teabags. Very disappointing.
What a lovely place to have tea! It's tastefully decorated, the service was excellent, and the prices were reasonable. We will be going back.
Went to Tea Room for a baby shower sprinkle. Enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Would recommend trying it.
It's a nice place to go for lunch.
The idea behind it is nice, but the execution fell short. We were a party of 10 women that were celebrating a dear friends engagement. The service was subpar. When things were needed, it felt like we were a burden to the server. The food was not appetizing most of there girls could not finish the small bite sized sandwich do to the taste of them. And lastly although we booked for a full two hours we felt rushed at the end. Unfortunately Would definitely not book here again. I hope they train their staff to be more friendly.

Rude and hateful service.
Tea has become somewhat of an unofficial family tradition for us. We would go frequently to some lovely tea houses on Long Island where the atmosphere always matched the occasion… light, lovely and cheerful. Having recently moved to the area, and with my birthday approaching, some locals recommended this place. I heard wonderful things and was really looking forward to experiencing for myself!
Some family surprised me by coming to visit this weekend so I called to make a reservation, but before I could even get the words out the woman on the phone cut me off. “No. No. No, can’t do that.” I was so taken aback. I said “Well, how about Sunday?” Again, an abrupt rejection. I don’t care how stressed you are or how awful your day has been, this is not the way you treat people or operate a business. It was shameful.
I am not the frequent author of bad reviews but this was so starkly and jarringly rude I had to share my experience. It see some other people had a similar encounter, which is validating.
I really wanted to like this tea room and was super excited to visit during our trip to Warwick. Growing up in England I’ve had a lot of afternoon tea services and it’s one of my favorite things. I called in the morning and the person who answered was very short with me and after accepting my reservation for that afternoon made a point to tell me she doesn’t usually take same day reservations (ok?). Still went in with high hopes despite the cold reception on the phone. Service was extremely slow (although our server was very sweet), they seemed understaffed. Scones were very dry & chewy but the sandwiches were fine. Tea came out and I had to chase our server down for milk. Fairly average tea service overall.
This place was very cute! Atmosphere was perfect. We highly recommend.
