This review is for the restaurant. I feel ridiculous that I have never eaten here before...maybe it was the intimidating castle like structure that kept me away but now I regret not dining here sooner! The entire experience was awesome and I applaud the staff for delivering a completely trouble free night out. First of all the food is amazing ? and the executive chef may be the best in the area. My duck was perfect. Our server Chris was really a nice guy who enjoyed working there. He knew the menu and was very helpful. The cocktails were good too! The prices are reasonable for the quality of food you are getting and quite surprisingly a good value. If you haven't been here yet give it a try and you will be satisfied.

We went there for my birthday - it’s been about 15 years since last visit. Food and service was wonderful.? But I must say that we were very disappointed that there were no Rose wines available- the hostess seemed almost put out when we suggested they add some, as Rose has become very popular as of late??♂️ Suggestions such as Whispering Angel or Summer Water would be a great addition to their wine list, by bottle or by glass Just sayin! Hope management might consider it, but it fell on deaf ears to the hostess?

This is a family owned inn and restaurant. We stayed and ate here for our anniversary. We have eaten here before but not for a while. It was excellent then and still is now. They have a very complete Wine Spectator rated wine list. The owner and head chef is from Switzerland. The food and service is excellent. His daughter is the bar tender and hostess. She also serves any of their specialty flaming dinners. The inn itself is an old estate residence changed to an inn and restaurant. It is a premier wedding venue as well. We highly recommend eating and staying here. Just think, you can have that after dinner cocktail and you don't have to drive afterwards. We stayed in room #1. The room was beautiful and clean but the bathroom was a little dated and could maybe use an upgrade. Our room had a sitting area and an electric fire place. It was large and comfortable although, the bed was a little firm for my taste. We highly recommend the restaurant and the inn. Come and enjoy the wonderful food, friendly service and a good night's sleep.

I opted to step away from chain hotels and booked a two night surprise stay at Chateau Hathorn. It was a truly unique experience that we will never forget. Old world elegance and charm topped off by a truly exceptional dinner. Our drinks, appetizer and entrees were above and beyond in both presentation and flavor with generous portions and a very modest tab at the end. A sincere thank you to our hosts and their staff… bravo!

My fiancé has numerous severe food allergies but Sandra made us both feel like welcomed family and ensured every aspect of our meal was phenomenal and safe. One of the best steaks ever! Every time has been consistently wonderful- lovely ambiance, attentive service and outstanding cuisine. That is some record! Start to finish...Wow! we started with the amuse Puff Pastry “Neptune” and it was fluffy, buttery, and crispy, just amazing and the Escargot “Café de Paris” appetizer. My God. I have no idea how they create those delicious foods.We came on a Friday and I loved the aesthetic inside the restaurant with a cozy atmosphere, they even had the fireplace going all night and the staff was prompt and attentive.My husband had the New York Sirloin Steak and I had one of the specials with a sauce that was to die for.Everything was cooked perfectly and incredibly tasty. I’m usually a tough critic when it comes to steaks at restaurants and had my guard up but they knocked out of the park.It was a truly exceptional dining experience from start to finish.
