My 2nd time at this restaurant, after nearly 7 years! Am happy that this place is still around and serving delicious Puerto Rican food in Warwick. I brought my bf here after a busy day in the area, and was happy to see that they had a nice outdoor patio area for al fresco dining.

We ate indoors, and were well taken care of by the two servers. Water was given shortly after we were seated. Though, their cocktail menu seemed appealing, we didn't order drinks at this time.

We ordered two pork pasteles for appetizers. Though smaller than I'm used to, it was very tasty and we devoured them quickly (no pictures). For entrees, we ordered the chicken creole with a side of yucca fries and pernil with arroz y gandules with a side of maduros. All was very tasty! šŸ˜‹ I had enough for leftovers, and am happy to enjoy the meal anew.

The restaurant itself is well decorated and kept nice-looking. They have a full bar and some booth and table seating. Would be a good outing for couples and groups alike, or solo diners at the bar. The prices are a bit high for the food type, but I do believe that it is worth it given the scarcity of Puerto Rican food in the area. šŸ‡µšŸ‡· Highly recommended.

Coquito is a must-visit Puerto Rican Restaurant! Great nightlife with a DJ and nonstop Latin music for dancing all night. Friendly staff, delicious food (the steak was cooked to perfection, and the lobster mofongo was amazing), and perfectly crafted drinks. I celebrated my birthday here with amazing friends. Highly recommend!

Second time to Coquito and again, love the atmosphere. The food is solid though this time, the pernil was a little dry. Service was good again dnd a homey vibe abounds. Will visit again when in the Warwick area.

I’ve been raving about Coquito for over 15 years, and I’m absolutely never let down! The food is not just delicious; it’s a true taste of authenticity that transports you straight to the heart of the Caribbean. As a Dominican living in Orange County, it’s been a challenge to find quality Spanish cuisine, but this gem offers a slice of home that I cherish.

And let’s talk about Saturdays! The atmosphere is electrifying, with a DJ spinning an incredible mix of music that creates an unforgettable party vibe, reminiscent of a lively night in NYC but right in my backyard. The drinks are top-notch, and the service is fantastic! It’s an experience that captures the essence of celebration. Don’t miss out on the fun at Coquito!

Great ethnic food and great service. We have lived in Warwick for 40 years and love Coquito. For new comers this would be a great find but you have to get off Main Street.

I have been going to Coquito for as long and I can remember and it is still my favorite restaurant!!! The food is always amazing- I particularly love the strip steak and the fried platanos (always my go to order).

The service is always great! Yesterday, Valentino served us and even with some staff down he provided a great experience! Very personable and funny!!

Went there today the food was amazing. We are Puerto Rican and this was the first time we went to a restaurant that was the real deal. We will definitely make many return trips to this place.

I went there for my birthday. I ordered the pernil and arroz con guandoles and the flavor was bland. My grandson ordered the boneless fried chicken and that was hard to even cut. Overall a very disappointing dinner for us. I would never go back. Don’t wait your time or money because you will certainly be very disappointed. I rate it a 2 out of 10.

This restaurant never disappoints! The food is consistently outstanding—every dish is full of flavor and flawlessly prepared, time after time. Their Sangria is truly the best I’ve ever had—refreshing, perfectly balanced, and a must-try with every visit. What really sets this place apart is its unwavering excellence over the years. From the warm, attentive service to the inviting ambiance, everything is always just right. It’s rare to find a spot that maintains such high standards year after year, but this one absolutely delivers.
