The worst place EVER!! A Anniversary gift that went very bad. The owner was very quick to process my American Express card of a 150$ for my Sister and Brother in laws Anniversary gift card thinking we were giving them a nice Anniversary Dinner.. They forgot to mail it out 10 days later!!! That's because I called them up!! Oh we forgot!! Then to find out they weren't even taking reservations because they decided not to open. After they lied to my Sister saying just call and make a reservation for dinner!!! Unbelievable!!! This went on for weeks!!! They never opened after all but very quick to take our money. Worst management I've ever seen!! This use to be a very special place to go to BUT!! NOT ANY MORE!! Guess what!? My sister and her husband NEVER had their special dinner. Very Disappointing!!! Tonight my fiancée and I booked a table for the pre fix meal in the tap room and we absolutely loved it. We were greeted at the door and taken downstairs to such an amazing room with old word charm and character. The service staff was beyond amazing and food was incredible. My fiancée has a dairy intolerance and we reached out ahead of time to let them know and they went above and beyond to accommodate his needs. We have nothing but wonderful things to say and will definitely be back with friends!

Very disappointed that they're not open for any lunch or dinner since covid. Used to be a great place but apparently they're not open except for private functions...had been many times since late 80's and was always a treat...I still call now n again checking to see if they've reopened for all...

My wife and I recently held our wedding ceremony and reception here, and we can't say enough great things to appropriately and fully express just how perfect everything was. Kate planned everything out for us, right down to the smallest details, with care and absolute precision. Erik was phenomenal with our food selections and execution. Our expectations were already high going in, and not only did they meet them, they exceeded them. Our friends and family had the time of their lives. Thanks to everyone at the Iron Forge Inn, my wife and I had the fairy tale wedding that we were hoping for. THANK YOU!

Terrible restaurant with an attitude. Wheel chair ramp inaccessible and they got an attitude for using it. The food was terrible.......$90.00 per person. Amazingly outrageous

Iron Forge Inn hosted our rehearsal dinner & welcome party, and it was splendid. The owners are excellent stewards of this historic property and take great pride in what they do. They are flexible, accommodating, and friendly people. The space itself is beautiful, full of cozy, but elegant old world charm. The food is to die for. Rustic, hearty, and plentiful. Excellent vegetarian options. So many wonderful details at this venue with attentive and friendly service. This would also be a lovely place to host a small wedding.
We celebrated a wedding rehearsal dinner and welcome party for our son and daughter-in-law at the Iron Forge Inn in early November. It was a truly wonderful experience enjoyed by all. The Inn was warm and inviting. The family style dinner for about 50 people was really delicious - especially the short ribs and squash - and was very nicely presented. Many of our guests commented that the dinner was outstanding. Our welcome party included an outdoor tent with heaters and nearby bonfire. Eric and Kaitlyn along with their staff worked with us to make the night what we hoped it would be. Many thanks!

Historical elegance at its finest. This old building is over 300 years old from colonial America. It is cozy and beautiful inside with classic decorations. The food and menu are delicious and the staff were wonderful! It also has a large outdoor patio outback with a trail, fire pit and gazebo sitting on top of the hill. It is truly beautiful and I recommend it for anyone!

We had the most amazing wedding at the Iron Forge Inn. The owners and staff were so accommodating and easy to work with. They made our day extra special. The food is delicious and the location was perfect. 5 stars isn't enough, it truly was a magical day/evening at the Iron Forge Inn. It's been 3 years and ours guests still can't stop raving about it.

Erik, Kate, and the entire staff from The Iron Forge really went above and beyond for our rehearsal dinner. Kate helped us plan our dinner from top to bottom, including adding some personal touches that really reflected us as a couple. We had cocktail hour at the outdoor patio, which had a fire pit going and a hot cider station with hors d’oeuvres! Then we had a three course family-style dinner. They were even kind enough to make plant-based versions of some of the dishes to accommodate our vegan guest. All of our guests have been raving about the rehearsal dinner since it happened!! Everyone had such a great time. Thank you soooo much to Kate, Erik, and the rest of the Iron Forge for such a memorable experience!
