Mediocre, at best. Hadn't been in a few years. We sat in the bar area, more dimly lit and nice ambiance, however, a family with kids running around and yelling in the bar area sat right next to us. Kids are fine, but not in the bar area being loud. Killed the whole vibe. Drinks were ok, nothing notable. The food, though, wasn't worth it. Everything was bland, flavors weren't great. Got the chicken special (mashed potatoes were cold and tasted like they came out of a box), and the swordfish was not good. Walked out and said "4/10, no need to go back."

Great food & service in a historic setting. Concise menu with good variety. Indoor & Outdoor seating. Food looks & tastes excellent! Friendly service. Beautiful gardens & flowers. Landmark Inn's inviting atmosphere feels like going home for a special meal. There's a few dining rooms as well as tables & seating on the back deck.

The Landmark Inn is a great restaurant in Warwick NY. Probably one of the best. I have never had a bad meal here. Service is always excellent. The historic atmosphere is pretty cool too. My personal favorite is the super tender short ribs in a tasty gravy. See photo. The chef/owner really knows what he is doing and seems to spend a lot of his time making sure everything is just right

Last night, for my birthday, we had what I have to call a perfect, and perfectly delicious meal. You can’t take a picture of an experience, but if there were a way, we would have tried.
My fettuccine Bolognese was a detailed joy, yielding a world of varied delights in every bite. Even the radicchio and endive salad… one of those textured, flavorful events where you close your eyes and savor every each mouthful.
I could go on and on… but I’m still busy savoring.
Gorgeous setting, roomy comfort, delightful servers and employees… and the bank does not break. You’d pay 100 or 150% more in the city to even come close.

Hands down the best crab cakes I’ve ever had. My picky child absolutely loves the short ribs. We’ve been there several times and everything we’ve had has been delicious. Great atmosphere whether date night or a family dinner. Not to mention great service especially your hostess who was helping bus, and assisting your wait staff. We will be back soon.
