Went for a nice Christmas Eve dinner. Waited over an hour for a drink and appetizers. My appetizer came out incorrect and had to be sent back. Cake back out a reasonable amount of time later and was good. Main course left something to be desired. This is my third time eating here and this was not the best experience compared to the other two. Hoping it was just an off night. Server was great and comped the drink and appetizer.

Vegetarian options: Used to have at least one dish that was vegetarian and this seems to no longer be the case.

We had a wonderful Christmas Eve dining at Old Stone House! Our cocktails were good and the food was delicious. I ordered the calamari to start and the chicken entree. It was very tasty! I want to come back and check out the bar. Loved the decor. The staff was super friendly and provided great service. They were accommodating with our young son as well.

I drove up from Rockland County to check the place out. It exceeded my expectations! The food and staff were outstanding! The bartender was very knowledgeable about all kinds of drinks and had a great attitude! Would definitely go back again!!

Food was good, service was excellent. Good attention to detail inside. Prices make more sense off Central Park than in Warwick. Steaks were ever so slightly over cooked which I would overlook if not for the prices.

I would go back here.

I used to come here for special occasions because it really is that kind of place where you would want to mark a special day or time in your life. This fall I started stopping in for drinks with friends and ordering off their bar menu and it’s become our new favorite. The burger is to die for! Photos attached of some of my favorite drinks. Kudos to a fantastic bartender, Scott. Stop in to say hello!

Overall great experience. No detail was spared in the renovation of this beautiful property. Staff is very professional and attentive to every detail. Kitchen very responsive to our allergy needs. This was our second visit and the food was excellent both times. Special shout out to Scotty behind the bar.

We went for my wife’s birthday and I left disappointed and frustrated. The atmosphere is unique and interesting. The food is at or just below par for the price. The service however was absolutely terrible. The entire place seemed extremely disorganized.

Our waitress seemed like it was her first day in the service industry, she was friendly but awful at her job. While I understand everyone has to learn somewhere … it’s not usually at a place with an avg entree of $50-$70 pp. We saw her a couple of times in the 2 hours it took from the time we were seated till the time we finished our meals. The odd thing is that’s not unusual but it was 30 mins of nothing, then drinks came … then 25-30 mins then apps came, then 15 mins dinner came. All from different people who dropped the food and ran away before you could say or ask for anything.

Main complaints:
- 1 of our parties entrees came out 15 minutes after everyone else’s. (Appreciated that they comped the meal but we didn’t go out to get a comped meal)
- 3 of the 4 plates were scolding hot and the food was warm to cold which usually means it sat under a heat lamp.
- we got a round of drinks before our apps came out and were never offered another round again nor was our server anywhere to be found to order one.
- We ordered a side of fries for our 2 year old son and asked for them to come out asap, they came out after 3 of the 4 meals came out?

Positives:

Only good thing about our lunch there was a very kind, pleasant and friendly hostess who accomodated us outside with our fur baby. Also, the ambiance inside looked nice. The food was not good. I ordered blackened cod and got instead frozen cod fried in bread crumbs. It was served with mushroom risotto. Mushrom was no where to be found or tasted and the risotto was swimming in cheese sause. I took a bite from my husband’s philly steak sandwich and could hardly swallow it. It was so heavy and smelled like a very heavy oil. The ceasar salad was supposed to have black truffles and it definitely did not. The service was terrible. We had to refill our water glasses and help ourselves with the cutlery. 1 hr after we ordered our food, our main dishes had not yet arrived. I was very excited to have found this place close to a farm we visited for apple picking and came out of it terribly disappointed and migraine because I could hardly eat anything.
