Great presentation on all dishes, from starter through dessert.....service just adequate...John took care of our special request he was very hospitable. The building is from the 1850's don't let front corridor scare you.... it's nice in dining room.

I don’t often do review for restaurants but I had a particularly interesting experience. My husband and I had dinner here to celebrate our anniversary last night. Upon arrival we were greeted and seated by a young man who was very polite. Shorty after our female server came over and took our order. Food and drinks came out quickly as we were the only ones there at the time.
Food: The food was just okay if I’m being honest. For the price I do feel like blue point in Newburgh at the waterfront is much better.
Atmosphere: great! 10/10. I even liked the Halloween decor they set up!
Service: Service was great until the check came. We received a gift card from my father that he just purchased on Saturday. We gave it to the server along with another from of payment for the balance. When she came back she explained its balance was 150 but the gift card was for 200 written and signed by the staff there. She then explained that they don’t fill out the gift cards until it showed her the certificate. Then her story changed and she said she would fix it. I don’t know if it was a true mistake but it definitely felt like she was misleading us and trying to take advantage. I really didn’t appreciate it. She did end up fixing it but the vibe felt totally off. When I asked her who’s signed it she said she didn’t know. I find it hard to believe she didn’t know what staff member issued the gift card. I won’t be returning!

Appetizers were good. However, the ribeye and cod entrees were not. While the steak was cooked to medium well it was very dry. The cod entree was tough. It seemed to be a strange cut.

Mouthwatering dishes. The oysters and mussels were fresh and delicious. The Risotto Filleto was amazing. The veal chop came served on a sizzling platter and melted in your mouth. Highly recommend this restaurant. The staff was super welcoming and attentive. We will return.

One of the best filets I've ever had! I am so happy I chose the larger cut because I could not stop eating it ! My husband was absolutely in love with his ribeye as well. The bread and red pepper oil was a really unexpected start to our meal. All the sides we ordered complimented the meat very well. I do not live in the area but I'd visit again just to dine at this restaurant. Highly recommend!

Honestly, I was very impressed with prime this being my third time there. Not sure if with time they have just gotten better, but the food was absolutely delicious. So happy can't wait to go back.

Our waitress, Phyllis, was outstanding. I can end the review right here, but I'll keep going. The food was prepared well served hot and the specials that we ordered were clearly top-notch. The sirloin steak that my guest ordered was cooked perfectly and it was a substantial Cut. And very impressive.
I would like to first express what a pleasure it was to have Victoria as our server. This young lady was knowledgeable on the menu and wines offered. Her personality was sweet honest and genuine. This alone put the restaurant over the top!!! Our meal stared with the sautéed calamari(delicious), then to the entrees: chicken Anis flavor amazing and the steak with onion rings cooked to perfection. We were impressed by both the wait staff and the food! We will be regulars( thank Victoria for that!)

Overall the food was fantastic. Will definitely return. The seating is close to others. Not much elbow room. So not really a spot for a romantic date night. More for casual night out.
