Delicious farm to table restaurant. Recommend making reservations especially on the weekend. I called on a Saturday right when they opened at 4pm and was able to secure a reservation at 7pm, which required a credit card on file and $35pp cancellation fee. The Grange is an intimate dining room with about six tables, adorned with beautiful art, dimly lit, and very cozy and welcoming. On Saturdays, they have a pre-fixe menu of $65pp which includes an appetizer, entree, dessert and choice of coffee, tea, or espresso. They have a small wine and beer selection, but no cocktails. We started with a Kentucky fried duck tenderloin appetizer and the lunar new year nachos. The fried duck was fried in a thick batter and served on creamy polenta and blue cheese. The lunar new year tacos was heavy on the rice, it would have been better with a bit more tuna. For entrees, I ordered the La Belle Farm Duck Breast, cooked medium, and my husband ordered the HVCC Sliced NY Strip Steak, medium rare. My husband's steak was so delicious and nicely cooked. I thought my duck breast was a little too rare for me, but the dish itself was very good. For dessert, I had the flourless chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream which I really liked. Our server was nice enough to add a candle for my birthday, which was a nice little surprise. My husband had an apple crisp dessert with vanilla ice cream, which he also enjoyed. We also each had our own little pot of tea which was the perfect ending to our meal. Service here was very friendly and smooth. Lovely ambiance and great food. Perfect for a date night.

The best meal I’ve had! This farm to table is a hidden gem! The butternut squash soup was outstanding and the crème brûlée was the best I’ve ever had! Highly recommend!

The Grange has been delivering high quality, complex flavors and well-cooked dishes for many years. Literally backyard farm-to-table, this establishment has been working hard to deliver my favorite dining and flavor experience of all time. Intimate, cozy, affordable and superior than any of the fine dining establishments that I’ve been to in New York City. Appreciate the dynamic, ever-changing menu, the passion and love Chef Jim Haurey has taken to deliver an outstanding experience. I don’t know the guy personally, but based on his social media, the impression I get is a hard - working mad genius. The best duck I’ve ever had, right here. An amalgamation of flavors, yet each ingredient can still stand out on their own. That is an experience. The ingredients that dress the entree are as significant as the main itself! That’s love.

Reservations are needed if you want to secure a table, as the restaurant is very small and very popular. They are very anxious about their tables and reservations so be certain to do this and to make sure that they confirm with you or call day of yourself to confirm! Otherwise, the food, ambiance and service were very good! All prices are either clearly listed on their every day menu, and all items on the chalkboard/rotating menu are the same price. All fresh and local seasonal ingredients. Just call ahead and confirm that res!

cozy space with a curated local menu. everything was excellent and the ambience is perfect for an intimate date night. i am gluten free and despite them not overtly advertising as gf, most of the menu options were already gf safe or modifiable. not to mention the prix fixe price point is unbeatable for the quality of the meal you will undoubtedly enjoy :)

My friend really enjoyed this place in the past so we came back again after snowboarding at Mountain Creek. It's a small restaurant so you definitely want to make a reservation. Everything is farm to table which was great as the food was very fresh/good quality. The plating was also so beautiful!! I won't list what we actually got because their menu is always changing but definitely worth stopping by :)

Probably the best dining experience we had in a long time. Old rustic little place just over the Jersey border. The service and food were excellent. We had the Venison stew, risotto for apps and stripped bass for dinner. Every dish was well prepared and cooked perfectly. Highly recommend.

The most delicious and beautifully presented meal we may have ever had! Your meal is like a work of art. The atmosphere is warm and cozy and comfortable. The staff is warm and cozy and comfortable as well ! My husband and I had a most enjoyable evening . The risotto appetizer was delicious. The steak was tender , the fish was fresh and flavorful and the apple crisp with homemade ice cream topped off a perfect meal in every way. This is our new favorite restaurant. If we could give it 10 stars we would. It’s just a delightful place in every way. ❤️ Thank you Grange!!

The meal was excellent from appetizers to dessert. There were three of us dining. We shared appetizers, each had a different main course and dessert. All were exceptional. Nice selection of wine too. Loved the warm cozy atmosphere. Highly recommend The Grange.
