Great atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious wine. Not much more we could ask for.
Just need to update your hours. I drove an hour to discover you are closed for bottle sales during the week. Very disappointed.
Great day trip from the city. I went and did the tour and tasting for 25 dollars I tried 5 wines. The wine was excellent I recommend the Riesling in the blue bottle and the turning leaf Riesling and the sparking wine which is made like Dom Perignon. John gave us the tour and he was very knowledgeable. Kathleen was so kind and helpful in the store. I will definitely go back for more wine. Great experience and beautiful venue.

Wonderful expeditious place to deliver and pick
Did you know the oldest operating winery in America is just an hour from NYC? Brotherhood Winery has been producing wine since 1839, even staying open during Prohibition by supplying wine to churches for services—talk about a historic loophole!
The winery itself is stunning, with hand-dug underground cellars that make for an incredible tour. The wine selection is just as impressive, with something for every palate. Whether you're a history buff or a wine lover, this spot is a must-visit for a unique and memorable experience.
This place is awesome 👍👍. Went went on Valentine's weekend and did the couples tour and tasting and then had dinner at their restaurant 1839 which was great. Highly recommend
The Valentines Day Winery Tour was so much fun. So much history. The wines are among our favorites. A must visit any time of the year. Staff are are incredible.
Excellent wines and good prices online ordering is a slight chore, but I highly recommend it. Holiday wine is spectacular
Here right now wed 3 pm and they are closed. Took a long drive to come here. Website says open. Very disappointing.
First the good; the wine is delicious (and VERY fairly priced), the buildings and property are beautiful and well-kept and their events are very fun (we're HIGHLY considering having our wedding here and it kills me that I can't give it 5 stars but hopefully that'll change) For the most part, the staff seems to be very passionate and hospitable with a few exceptions...
To begin, some shout-outs for some outstanding staff members: Gina H, we LOVE YOU! She was personable, knowledge, and genuinely seemed to enjoy being there and talking to us.
Next up, Suzanne! In one word, excellent! She delayed her lunch break to do a tasting for us; probably for 2 reasons, 1 being that she genuinely seems like the sweetest person but also (2) because she is so passionate about wine and winemaking that I'm sure she'd stop a train just to share her knowledge and passion with others. She gave us personal recommendations and anecdotes and was overall very pleasant to have with us for the afternoon.
Then there's Brendan, who while we didn't speak with him very long was very nice and made an awesome personal recommendation.
Unfortunately now for the not-so-good which all came in the same day too. The woman at the register (didn't get her name) was dismissive and felt like she couldn't be bothered. Customer service SUCKS, I should know, so when I go somewhere I try to make conversation/quips with staff to add a little light to the soul-sucking world of serving and yet this woman was NOT having it. Then we had the gall to ask for a tasting (as one does at a winery) and we got George; who seemed like a nice enough kid at first but was obviously just there to do his job.
I don't know if Suzanne bent the rules for us or what, but apparently the way the tastings work is that you HAVE to pick one wine from each section of the menu or else they skip over a tasting so you don't get your entire money's worth for a rule you aren't necessarily warned about or at the least informed that it's enforced; since as previously mentioned, Suzanne let us pick whatever we wanted and we took that as the standard (and the fact that that's the standard for pretty much any other winery). So whether George was playing by the book or Suzanne bent the rules for us, we feel it's a silly rule.
If I pay for 5 tastings, I expect 5 tastings; not a "oh too bad, you can't go back on your choices."

Went to this winery in the 80s and was impressed then, now that am older saw a show with the cast visiting the winery and brought back beautiful memories. So planning a trip to NY soon and I think this will be a spot I'll visit again. Glad the winery is still alive and kicking. Good memories... Now 30 years later looking forward to seeing this winery again.
Awesome winery. Got a great tour from Daria, learned a lot about the history of the place and how the wine is made. Tasting was great, tried a variety and they all were great.
Beautiful venue & Donny is a true gentleman! Would highly recommend to anyone
Very charming. My favorite wine is Rosario!
Had a 430pm dinner reservation but also wanted to do the tour and tasting so showed up at 3pm. Got denied the tour because they shut it down early even though their website says it’s open until 5pm. Still did the tasting. The wine itself was good but the crackers given to us for pallet cleansers were old and stale. Went to dinner early due to not being able to do the tour. Watched a lady drop a towel on the floor and clean a table with it. The steak was $42 and wasn’t worth half that. Mine was burnt and taste like the gas they cook with my dogs loved it though so not a total waste. Service was average at best. My advice. Go for the wine and nothing else.
