I recently visited Duck Walk Vineyard with a friend and had a disappointing experience. While the wines were enjoyable, the staff seemed more focused on closing down an hour before the advertised time rather than providing a welcoming atmosphere. Instead of engaging with us about the wines, the conversation revolved around their need to wrap up for the night. This left us feeling rushed and unappreciated as guests. I hope they can improve their approach, as the potential for a great experience is there.
Wow, very impressed!! Flight of 4 just $16 and our server gave us 5th glass as well. So much variety and actually som exceptional wines here!! Also try blueberry port- yum!! Way better than expected!! Really
Really enjoyed the atmosphere, the staff very nice and the wine was delicious. I give it a 5 stars but would even give it more
Thank you for a wonderful day.
I have been coming to Duck Walk South for over 15 years and I used to be a member.
I went this weekend with my family and friends and we were quite disappointed.
We were purchasing an expensive bottle of wine and the credit card machine was not working (apparently this happens often). One of the managers was incredibly rude, especially when my friend made a suggestion and asked a question. After waiting over 20 minutes of troubleshooting the machine, the manager made a comment “well everyone is going to have to use cash, use the atm to take out cash or they can’t buy.”
Thankfully we had cash on us and while I don’t expect a discount for the wait or inconvenience, an apology or we appreciate your purchase would have been welcomed.
Additionally, outside their bee situation is out of control. They need to warn customers, and set traps or do something. It was a cold day and misty day, there should not have been that many bees. We could not sit to enjoy the wine or our food
Unfortunately, we decided we will not return next year post apple picking.
A great day out with my irresponsible friend!
It sounds as if reading some of the reviews there was a woman working here who was really quite rude. Fortunately, we did not see her at all. We were greeted by a wonderful server who was sweet and funny and kind and helpful and had the most excellent smile! (See photos).
This is our annual trip up to visit the vineyards with some friends who have a family home here. We are two couples who have known one another for decades. My partner and my friend’s partner had to work, so it was just the two of us, set loose for the day. Of the four of us, the two who were working are the responsible, well-behaved ones, and me and my friend (who never get to go out on our own) are a bit less disciplined. So we were sent out to get meat and cheese, and Instead, we went to a winery. We explained this to the person serving us, and he was good, natured and sweet and even took photos of us “not at a winery.”
The wine was good. I especially liked some of their sweeter wines, although I’m not typically a sweet wine fan. The reds were not my favorites, but I’m a California -cab born and raised type of gal, so…
Overall, a pleasant way to spend a couple of hours. Please pass along our thanks to the employee pictured with the great smile
Supposed to be open at 11:00. We got there around 11:30. Nobody home, closed? Gave up about 11:45. Definitely call before you get home
Worst winery in both north and south fork. Service is awful. Understaffed and rude. Felt like a college party.
Very surprised at the wines. Enjoyed all wines I tasted especially the Chardonnay. Good south fork stop for wine
So unwelcoming
Had a great time with Kristi taking care of us. Very accommodating to our baby and dog. Will return!

Beautiful winery! Great wine, lots of fun and music!!! I must visit, cheers 🥂🍾
The older woman behind the counter was ridiculously rude for absolutely no reason. She was rushing us and her tone was absurd, my friend and I went to select cheeses for our tasting and she commented from across the room “just pick a damn cheese already” She ruined our experience. Seems like she hates her job or is just miserable in general. It’s such a shame because the wines are great and the guy behind the counter serving the wines was very pleasant and knowledgeable.

Great winery! Nice service and the wine tasting is a must! They are very generous with the portions for the tastings and it's very affordable! :D
