Magee’s has been a staple of the Finger Lakes for generations. I grew up coming here as a kid. It was a little bit of a drive from Syracuse, so it was always a treat when we visited. As I got older, I was always excited to go Black Friday shopping, because we’d stop at Magee’s after. When I began dating my girlfriend, now wife, we would have lunch here after a morning of looking at available rental homes in the area. We had toured a townhouse in Geneva one morning in 2018 with Fall Street Rentals and felt like it was confirmation that this was the place for us because our Magee's coffee mugs we got that morning had the Fall Street Rentals logo on the side. We loved the 2 years we spent in Geneva and had many memorable meals at Magee's. When we moved away in 2020, once again Magee's became a treat we looked forward to when visiting friends and family, and they were always happy when i mentioned Magee's because it was a fan favorite. Our group of friends was together in the area this weekend, so when one mentioned brunch today, of course we decided on Magee's. When we arrived we overheard talk of Magee's closing and asked our server if it was true. We were heartbroken when we heard the confirmation that yes, Magee's would be closing in a week. I called my friends and family in the area after we left and told them the news. It feels like a member of the family has passed away. Thank You so much to all the staff and crew for the years of memories and meals you've given me. From the time I was a child, until today when I enjoyed my final meal at Magee's, sat between my wife, and our two year old son, I have never had a bad experience and will always remember Magee's Country Diner! You will be missed!

The food was outstanding!!! The Spinach bisque and the Yancy XXX Mac and cheese I won't soon forget... The sad news was they closed as of Sunday Oct 22, 2023. Truly wish I'd stopped in there well before this...

We had to wait to be seated, but we didn't wait too long. The food was good and the service was pleasant. We would go there again when in the area.
We stopped here for breakfast. It was delicious! Friendly staff, good food, and super cute country decor. The cows made us smile. This place makes you feel at home. Definitely recommend stopping in for a bite to eat if you are near the Waterloo thruway exit/entrance??
