I am very surprised by the 5-star reviews for this place. I’ll keep it kind of objective - the portions are very small, I’d say half of what you’d normally expect. The dirty martinis did not include vermouth, because the bartender says that martinis do not have vermouth.

Food is tasty, thoughtfully prepared. Portions are on the smaller side, but satisfying, grilled oysters were petite but flavorful, mussels with kale and chorizo very good, chicken risotto and linguine with grilled shrimp top notch. Took awhile to be served but worth the wait. Would go back

The ribeye was absolutely perfect. I did not expect to have the best steak of my life here. Kinda ruined steak for me anywhere else as I will always compare it to Starr’s. The char the salt level everything was just perfect. I usually hate the fat on a steak and I realize now everywhere I have ever gone was just not doing it right. I live really close to this restaurant and slept on it because of the limited menu. Don’t make the same mistake I did.

This was our 1st time tonight 9/27 and it was EXCELLENT!!! Everything we ordered was PERFECT!!! My boyfriend got the steak had alot of flavor, I ordered the Fungi Pasta that was tasty and favorable!! The Beet Pickled Deviled Eggs were great too. There's homemade dessert for the Chocolate Torte and the Chocolate Bread Pudding amazing!! We got a reserved table #10 and our sever Stefan was like no other. He was kind and just had a welcoming attitude as a waiter. He made sure everything was ok, and treated you like a family member than a customer!! Bought two Kitchen Rounds for the excellent service!! Will definitely come back even though we live 45mins away this was well worth it!!! THANK YOU STEFAN 😊

Nice quiet dinner for four after a day of hiking. Superb food and very pleasant staff. We had one person with some dietary restrictions and they were very happy to accommodate as needed. Nice selection of beverages to pair with the food as you like. Will be back again.
