This peach ice cream is the best I’ve ever had in New York! Amazing!

Marina

Ice cream was freezer burned and tasted very artificial. Not many flavors to choose from and the ones that were there were basic. Very disappointed.

Came here for the ice cream delicious, and unique flavors

Just went to the creamery for the ice cream. It was pretty good with about 15 flavors of hard ice cream. In the front of the Inn right on Main Street, so a good in town location. Show Tuesday, so not much atmosphere and subdued service. If you like to sit on the front porch this could be your spot.

Went to the creamery after a hike at the state park, it was very disappointing. The guy behind the counter didn’t seem to understand the difference between a cone and bowl. Two of my family members asked for cones and they were given bowls. They also did not have any of the listed Sunday ingredients. All were out of stock. I would not recommend this place

The Colonial Inn and Creamery feels like a place that hit its prime years ago and has been coasting ever since. The staff seemed more bothered by my presence than by the actual legitimacy of the “hot” fudge. (Spoiler: it was neither hot nor fudge and the two drips hardly worth the upcharge.)

The ice cream case looked like it had just survived a small earthquake gallon containers dishevelled —frostbitten cookies and cream, flavors scribbled in unrecognizable writing on the glass case, and a menu board that might as well have been a work of fiction. Of the first three flavors I asked for, they didn't exist.

To top it off, my ice cream had an actual chunk of ice in it—because who doesn’t love a little extra crunch in their ice cream? My husband said his milkshake was disappointing.

Zero stars. Would not recommend. Unless, of course, you like your disappointment served cold.

There are several other ice cream places within walking and a short driving distance that are leaps and bounds better.

Highly disappointed. We had booked with Expedia and had issues. So we reached out directly and the man who answered our call told us he would take care of. Upon our arrival we find out he is no longer employed there. Our reservation was for 2 nights but it never fixed it and it was only for 1.
Manager told us to email them so we could get a refund from Expedia and she would help. Haven't received a response yet from her. Highly disappointed. I work in Customer Service and this isn't acceptable.
So it is now August 12th and we still have not heard back from the emails we sent regarding our refund...
The manager promised us she would take care of this for us. Poor business

We arrived. The sign said open but nobody was in the hut to take an order or make a pizza. Disappointed...

Pictures are NOT accurate! That is not what the rooms look like at all. They’re ugly and outdated and very unwelcoming. The bed was HORRIBLE- completely sunken in in the middle so you felt like you were sleeping on the edge of a hole. No shampoo, towel rack falling off the wall, toilet bubbles everytime someone above us flushed, the place is a dump. Everything is virtual so there’s not a soul around to complain to. The only reason I gave 2 stars it’s clean and the location is convenient to the amenities of the finger lakes. But the audacity to charge $250 a night for this even on a holiday weekend is abysmal.

We did not stay here, only got ice cream, however, they had an about 15 year old kid working the ice cream counter all alone on a Saturday with a parade happening in town. That poor kid had a line out the door and was running out of things left and right, with no room to breathe, clean or restock anything in between customers. He could have used another person there with him. Very poor planning on management's part, although I'm sure this is a small family owned business.

It was very cute and clean inside though, and the ice cream was great!

Room was not clean - floor was dirty, bedding looked like someone stepped on it with their shoes on. The bed was awful, like a beanbag chair. Half of the lights didn’t work because there were no lightbulbs. Shower was tiny and had no place to set shampoo or soap. Paint was peeling. Air conditioning window unit was dirty. Glad it was a very short stay.
Location was great - 2 blocks to the state park and their ice cream was delicious.

Be very careful. The reviews are deceiving look deeply into the reviews unfortunately I was too late and ended up paying for a hotel that I would never set foot in. Good luck to all
