Lakeside Resort & 3812 Bistro

Scallops were perfectly cooked and everything was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The menu choices are limited, but healthier than a lot of the area restaurants. I enjoyed the chili Lime fish tacos and he had the salmon, both were good. We had a small dog and they were very welcoming on the patio. Gorgeous view.

The food and setting are always fresh! It's our go to place for a relaxing dinner out, and to bring out of town visitors.

Food prepared right utilizing local ingredients where possible. Everything was cooked as ordered. The service was excellent it was a huge improvement from past years. We can't wait to go back again.

We stopped by the Bistro after a full day of hiking at Watkins Glen. It came highly recommended by some local residents who were on the trails as well. It was a stunning setting with a view of Lake Seneca while sitting out to dine on the back deck. My husband sampled a beer flight while I enjoyed a flight of bubbly drink varieties & they were all very tasty🍻🥂 Our waitress Brenna was delightful and so helpful with suggestions. We ended up sharing a Chicken Pesto flatbread that was divine and really hit the spot😋💜

They take dogs / cats for an extra fee.

Cassandra, our waitress, was excellent. Very personable. Good food and accomodations. Trails were lovely. Rocky the lab a plus!

We had a fantastic stay at Lakeside Resorts. The property is beautiful—immaculate grounds with a scenic trail, stunning views of Seneca Lake, and even Hector Falls. It’s also conveniently close to Watkins Glen.

The room was clean and comfortable, and we really appreciated the thoughtful touch of a provided pack and play for our baby. Communication was clear and helpful throughout our stay.

3812 Bistro served a delicious breakfast—don’t skip the pastry, it’s a must! Highly recommend for a relaxing, well-appointed getaway in the Finger Lakes.

The food and service were very good. I was not a fan of the ambiance. The whole place felt very cheap to me and lacked soul. The location overlooking the lake is very nice. If you're not a dog person, do not sit outside as there is a big chocolate lab who will come welcome you. While he did give us extra attention as food was delivered, he was well mannered and did not excessively beg, but laid down at my feet. I mention this because it's important for some.

3 1/2 stars. Lovely very busy restaurant w/a nice interior & covered outdoor seating. As it was raining we had to sit inside. There were only 2 people working at this place doing everything including dealing with people at the attached hotel so serviced suffered a bit. We enjoyed bottles of Chardonnay & Rose as well as the blue burger, fish tacos, chicken taco's, veggie stir fry & the dessert sampler. Food was decent - I didn't care for the fish in my taco's (swai fish). Dessert sampler was just OK. We liked the chocolate peanut butter dessert - the rest were uninspiring - I'd skip it!

Incredible stay at this hotel! The views of Seneca Lake are incredible, and bringing my dog sophie along was the best. Very dog friendly with some trails and other places to take your pets. The room was clean, and the restaurant on-site was fantastic. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with beautiful scenery and great amenities!

Really exceptional for the price point! Fully reconstructed cabin style accommodations a beautiful property overlooking Seneca Lake. The owners and staff are friendly and helpful and have thought of just about everything their guests would need for a comfortable stay, including stocking s'more packs in the vending machine and blankets for cool evenings out by the fire pit. I stayed with a friend in a 2-bed cabin, and it was perfect.

Food and service was excellent. It is a smaller menu but every single dish was outstanding. Highly recommend.

Loved the atmosphere and the view of the lake. Staff were very nice and attentive. The food was great and price was perfect.

Thank you to Melinda and her awesome chef for making the most delicious desserts for our wedding. Highly recommend the Bistro and all they have to offer from lodging in the beautiful cabins to exploring their land and enjoying the hidden gem of trails!!!
