Sat at the bar and the bartender was just so welcoming and friendly. She took my order right away. My food didn't take long as well. Overall. Great place to visit.

Came here on a whim while on vacation, Incredible. Started the night with the pickle platter. It’s worth every penny if you are a fan of pickled things. The jalapeno pickles were my favorite of the bunch. Went with the burntendwich and it did not disappoint! Incredibly savory. Upgrade to the mac on the sandwich or get the premium mac on the side, it’s incredible. Alli was incredibly hospitable and knew all the good flavor combos. Ask for her if you can. Will be back again!

My husband enjoyed this restaurant so much that we ended up dining here twice during our stay; this is something we rarely do when visiting a new destination. Every dish we tried was exceptionally flavorful, and the house sauce, in particular, was outstanding.

This spot truly stands out and is a must-visit for anyone spending time in Watkins Glen. The quality of the food and overall experience exceeded our expectations. This place is now in our top 5 barbecue restaurants.

Amazing bbq. The macaroni salad was out of this world!!! I think someone’s grandma was back in the kitchen making it.

Nick and his crew catered our daughter’s wedding at Whitetail Ridge Farm. They showed up early, the food for the happy hour, reception and late nite snack was absolutely delicious and ready on time. We highly recommend Nickle’s catering for any event.

Was in Watkins for a race and needed to grab food after. This place was busy and smelled great. We waited around 30 minutes for a table. Our waitress was ok, had to flag her down for a refill of water a couple of times. I ordered the burnt ends sandwich with Mac &cheese on it. The burnt ends were fatty and the sandwich as a whole was just ok. The side of Mac was not creamy and subpar. My buddy said his was meal was ok.

Everything tasted fresh and was cooked perfectly. We ordered wings, ribs, brisket, burnt ends, pulled pork, baked beans, mac salad, dill pickle potato salad, and a brisket sandwich. Wish I had a bigger stomach because it was hard to stop eating. Can’t recommend this place enough

I recently dined at Nickel's Pit BBQ in Watkins Glen and had an incredible experience! I ordered the Chopped Brisket and Plate, and it was absolutely delicious. The brisket was tender and packed with flavor, and the mac salad was to die for—definitely one of the best I've ever had!

What truly stole the show, though, was the exceptional service. I left the restaurant and, two hours later, realized I had forgotten my purse. I was so worried about losing it, but Alisa, the manager, went above and beyond to help me. She ensured that my purse was returned safely to me, and I couldn't be more grateful for her kindness and dedication to customer service.

I highly recommend Nickel's Pit BBQ not only for their amazing food but also for their outstanding staff. Thank you, Alisa and team, for making my visit so memorable!

, excellent service, food is well prepared and fresh, fun places. it tends to get very busy, long wait times no reservations accepted get there early. Also no chicken on the winter menu.

I was there Oct18. The hostess was so kind and the bartender was very busy and didn't miss a beat. Great employees. The brisket and homemade baked beans are the best I've had so far.
