I just stopped for lunch with my wife. Had a delicious corn beef Reuben. It was delicious. The bread was perfect for the sandwich. It came with fries that were the best. Crispy. Hot and coated with a very tasty crunch. I didn't try the house beers but a good selection.

I’ve been in twice in the last 2 weeks waited for 10-15 minutes and never got seated. I was the only one waiting and was never greeted. There were hardly any customers there when I walked in both times. I walked out and no one noticed.

This is a local pub but is unusually good. The fish tacos were great. The staff is very attentive and demonstrates a commitment to your overall satisfaction. We would definitely eat there again.

The super cute bartender drew us in with fancy drinks on the patio tables. We had a great time at the bar with him, good beer and yummy apps - highly recommend after a nice hike up the Gorge!

The food is really good bar food in my opinion. I recommend the veggie flatbread. The service is also great! And the owners are very kind and the people that come in really make it feel more welcoming. Great place and the drinks are great too! They have some killer bartenders.

We stopped in on a Sunday evening for dinner as we are remodeling and currently have no appliances in the house. The place is local, and we had no expectations other than a quick burger. We were very pleasantly surprised! The greeter/bartender/server was very friendly and had us seated with drinks served in no time at all. What was the biggest surprise was the size and quality of our burgers. I like a medium rare burger, which is often difficult to get at a restaurant. The Rooster Fish Pub cooked it to perfection! It was served on a hearty but fresh roll that was fitting for the half pound burger. Along with the perfect burger was a side of delicious fries. The one employee (whose name I forgot to get) was excellent at maintaining the bar and restaurant all by himself. It was not overly busy, but for a Sunday night, there was a steady crowd. I will assume that there was only one person in the back kitchen as well. We will definitely be back to try some other items on the menu as well as stopping in for breakfast. This might just be one of the hidden gems in Watkins Glen, that as a local, I don't want to brag too much about, and have it get so busy I can't get in. However, they definitely deserve to be bragged about for the service, using local wines (JR Dill dry riesling, which was great), quality and quantity of their food, and the overall experience.

Old school type of local bar, but with really excellent food and friendly service, we really enjoyed ourselves. The food was great I overate tremendously. i had the poutine and jambalaya, either of which would have been plenty enough by itself. My wife had the harvest salad, which she enjoyed. Lots of local beer offerings.
