Seneca Harbor Station was exactly where my wife & I chose to spend our dinner hour at on Mother's day. I ordered the special of the night which was prime rib, my wife ordered coconut shrimp & clamp chowder soup. Expecting a delicious piece of prime rib asking for it to be medium well done. When served the prime rib was practically raw and very fatty. I sent it back to the kitchen To be corrected, when returned the meat was tough and chewy like taffy & still practically raw, plus no flavor like it was microwaved or boiled. Shrimp & clam chowder was good, serverJess was good. Despite paying prime money expecting prime delicious food, it was all sub par... We will not return to this estabishment... ,

I can't pinpoint if this place is coasting on looks or on potential. This restaurant is nearly the equivalent of Celia Rae Foote from "The Help", the only difference being Miss Celia didn't have the snobbery or pretentiousness Seneca Harbor had. It is beautiful though, and if they put some more effort into the actual food they could really have something. I ate there about three months ago and was going to let the experience go but one dish in particular still haunts me. Brussel sprouts, somehow simultaneously undercooked and overcooked. The real horror of which was the bacon bits. I don't mean crumbled bacon, I mean the smoke and bacon flavored dehydrated soy chunk salad accessories that contain no actual bacon. I won't even get into the sauce. The rest of the food was over seasoned but palatable enough to choke down with lots of water. Look, I know I sound petty here but at their price point it's fair to expect a bit more. It's thrift store quality at Nordstrom prices. I feel a bit like I got held up.
Some unsolicited advice. There's too much going on here. It's like trying to throw a party at the party store. Maybe refine the offerings some. Smaller menu of dishes that are mastered and flavorful enough to justify the cost instead of shaking down tourists because you have the prettiest spot in town.

Hubby & I came in Oct after hiking Watkins Glen. We shared the BBQ, ribs & shrimp with onion rings, added a side salad (nicely sized & with good varsity), and he had the clam chowder (generous with the clams). Everything was very good, although we have decided we like shrimp prepared other ways (not BBQ'd). Our server, Jess, was delightful! A great experience.

The crab cakes and clam chowder were great…not too spicy. The sirloin was so tender and delicious. I highly recommend. Our server Zack was wonderful! I would definitely recommend this place! The setting was beautiful as well.

"Enclosed deck was absolutely perfect for the weather conditions. (4 stars because the gnats were bad, but not the restaurants fault) Katie was amazing! 10/5 Stars!! She knew the menu inside and out which was perfect this food allergy sufferer. We will ask for her every time! The food was delicious and no adverse reactions to it!

Count the stars from your covered deck outdoor table and count your stars for landing here. Had an amazing meal last night.. only wish I had more mouths. Part of a large group so was able to sample many things..
Started with Steamed Mussels ? Scampi served with large, appropriately char'd point toast, my Filet Mignon ? ala` Oscar with their signature in house made Lobster ? butter was out of this world... was that a hint of ? in that sauce? Nutty and savory.
Sampled the Sirlion with housemade crabcakes ? Amazing! Rave reviews of the seafood bisque were echoing the table. My jaw dropped at the huge, gorgeous and perfectly cooked Prime Rib ??. Had I not had Salmon this week twice already I'd enjoyed that as that looked to be the home run also.
With our amazing salads (mine Cesar) the large loaves of house breads were delicious. ? ??
Did I mention my darling baby carrots ? in honey butter trying to masquerade as orange cherry tomatoes . Yum. The dessert menu is full of incredible house made and unique options.. I indulged in Chocolate Torte topped with ganache and house made fresh raspberry topping... lots of Stellar options. Our table was adorned with the most gorgeous collection of crafted cocktails only seen in the big cities ..??????. I believe they serve ONLY THRU OCTOBER so get there now! or you'll wait through the Winter doldrums until next year.

Despite the restaurant’s perfect location, our dining experience didn’t meet expectations. We ordered two dishes: the grilled salmon with ginger glaze and sweet potato fries, and the seafood pasta.
The grilled salmon didn’t taste fresh and was overly sweet, though the sweet potato fries were crispy and well-cooked. The seafood pasta had balanced seasoning, but the sauce was too watery, lacking a robust seafood flavor.
On a positive note, the restaurant was exceptionally clean, especially the restrooms, which were spotless. The view from inside was stunning, with a beautiful panorama of the lake and boats, adding a lovely touch to the ambiance.
Unfortunately, the service and pricing didn’t match the setting. After finishing our meal, we waited too long for any follow-up or assistance. On top of that, the meal was far too expensive for the quality provided, leaving us feeling that it wasn’t worth the price. While the cleanliness and lake view were outstanding, the food, service, and high prices left much to be desired.
