My motorcycle club has gone to Seneca Lodge several times and man they are so accommodating! The rooms are always cleaned top notch, the staff is always polite, personable but always professional. If you are looking for a rustic place to staff for a few days to weeks, the first place in Watkins Glen needs to be Seneca Lodge!!

Good location right across from the state park. A-frame was sufficient space. Lodge was close to downtown and vineyards.

Great place to go after a race for drinks. We arrived around 7:00 and the place was jammed. Parking was full and inside was very crowded. We couldn't sit down. We ordered drinks at the bar. The service was quick and the drinks were good. We stood on the back porch and enjoyed the view while drinking and waiting for a table. After a while, we decided to go back to our campsite and make our own dinner, as it was a bar atmosphere and we had a 10 year old with us. We saw other people eating and the food looked good. Would suggest trying the place and getting there early. Drinks were a good value and well made!

Really fantastic, family run place. Friendly staff, great food, great bar with LOTS of history (especially racing). Adequate rooms and close to Watkins Glen State Park. Stayed here twice and loved it!

Great stay. Will stay again and would highly recommend. Awesome ?!Walkability: You are right by the entrance to the park. Walk in and skip the $10 entrance fee for drivers. We walked the gorge Saturday and Sunday. Had a wonderful time. Loved the room. Next time we will try to get a cabin or A frame. Wonderful.Food & drinks: We ate dinner and breakfast at the lodge and loved both. The service was fast even though they were packed. The food was top notch and ? yummy.

Great place at entrance to the Gorge Trail. Tasty own beer. We stayed in an A-Frame which was a great experience, however, updating some equipment would be perfect. The additional motel room was spacious and OK also. Nice breakfast, unfortunately we had no time to eat at the restaurant. Would choose again!!

My mom and sister had stayed here before and loved the experience, they even invited more people in our family to visit this time (we booked 3 different rooms totaling $1,000+). Unfortunately, this experience was NOT good! The first night, my mom pulled down her sheets to find the sheets horribly stained and had to contact the office to get new sheets for the bed (which was a whole ordeal). Inside the rooms, there were signs starting that pets were not allowed on the furniture, which we respected. My sister has 2 dogs, that are very well trained, and they were NEVER on the beds. My mom found a $117 charge on her credit card from the lodge. She called the office and spoke to a very rude woman who stated that dog hair was found in every layer of the bedding, and that the room smelled like dog so badly that they had to air the room out and not rent it the night after we left. The woman was speaking over my mom saying that we didn’t follow the cleanliness policy, therefore we were charged an extra cleaning fee. If they have such an important cleanliness policy, why were the sheets on my moms bed DIRTY when she tried to get in bed?!?! The woman was so unprofessional and actually hung up on my mom during the phone call. First of all, I can GUARANTEE you that there was NOT dog hair all over the bedding! Secondly, if dog hair is SUCH an issue, and the *smell* of a dog bothers this place so much, then they shouldn’t even allow dogs! Easy as that! This was a very disappointing trip, and we will NOT be back!
