Great local eatery, staff is friendly, and just witty enough to make you feel like family (thank you Grace). And reasonably priced. Philly cheesesteak sub is a challenge to finish, make this a regular stop if you’re in the neighborhood.
Ok we will do the positive before the negative! It’s great that they sautee their onions and mushrooms on their cheesesteaks! Huge plus as so many places will serve raw onions on cheesesteaks! The bad is that the salt on the cheesesteak was overbearing! I had their Philly Chicken Cheesesteak, and I have to give it a 5 star rating. I’ve sampled Philly Cheesesteaks in many places in my travels over the years, and have always been disappointed. Why do I do this? Because I’m from Philly! Seriously, I would stack Arrowhead’s up against anyone’s. Great fries, terrific service.
