First impressions mean everything when trying any restaurant for the first time! I ordered stew chicken, collard greens, yellow rice w/ oxtail gravy, honey cornbread & tuna mac salad via DoorDash. The chicken was cooked perfectly & had a slight sweetness to the sauce 8/10. I rate the collard greens and rice a 9/10. The cornbread is a 10/10. Angie’s Soul House is hands down one of my favorite spots on Long Island. The food is made fresh every single day, and you can taste the love and care that goes into every dish. It’s hard to find good soul food on Long Island but, Angie’s gets it right. Everything I’ve tried has been amazing this place is a hidden gem and definitely worth the trip.
