This is the first time that I ever ordered a take out order from Café Gio. I spoke to Franco, Leo and the owner Sal. The feeling that they gave me when I spoke to them on the Telephone moments ago was that I was back in the day, when I could call a restaurant, talk to the folks that either owned it, or ran it and place an order with them, while they were answering a myriad of questions for me! I must say that I do a lot of takeout orders for work, friends, and family, The staff at Café Gio far surpassed my expectations and helped me place a large catering order seamlessly for today!I would highly recommend doing business with Café Gio. We need to support the restaurants that care enough to keep us happy, healthy and well fed. By the way, I failed to mention that my order was time sensitive it had to be delivered within a certain time today. The staff at Café Gio is making the delivery for me Personally at no extra charge!!!Dietary restrictions: Several of the guests are gluten free.

I’m done with this place. They consistently screw up my takeout orders. They seem to have a hard time when you try to include slices with your takeout order. One time they forgot a slice with my Uber eats order and then said I had to come and pick it up. Last few takeout orders I had to go back before I left to get my slices they didn’t include. The prices in the restaurant portion are absurd. I actually eat cheaper in high end Italian restaurants like Vespa. The food is good but it’s a pizza place. Give me a break

Fantastic food, great service. Can’t lista favorite dish because I love them all. My family has been coming here for years. Not a fan of the loud singing. She sings ok, but is so loud. It ruins the atmosphere. Gio’s is a great restaurant, not a bar. From now on, I’ll be getting my food to go if singer is there.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly

I've been going to cafe gios for years, it has always been excellent, unfortunately my last dining experience was terrible. The food was cold , and had an awful after taste like soap, not just one dish it was everything we ate. It was very strange, we barely touched the food and sent it back. I was surprised that the manager or owner never came over to our table to speak to us, that's a red flag that they didn't care. Also they have been adding in the credit card charge on the entire bill, and don't remove it when you pay cash. So basically they are hoping you don't pick up on it, suffice to say I'm finished with cafe gio.

After my experience last night this place should be shut down it is owned by a woman who has no business being in the restaurant field I've been going to this restaurant for way over 10 years bringing friends and family for awhile I was going once a week but after last night I will NEVER go again and make sure my family and friends won't either the food is usually good and I always order pretty much the same thing I met the owner as she was our waitress months ago and eavesdropped on our conversation asking me y I thought her service was off I told her and she didn't like the reply WHO does that she was rude nasty and a BITCH still we continued to go then last night I ordered my food and I believe she purposely sabatoged my meal so we would not come back the apps were ice cold my eggplant was like soup and my penne a la vodka was made with a sour ingredient the other dish chicken francaise tasted like pneumonia along with the soup when I called Jill the waitress over she didn't even ask if we wanted anything else it was as if she knew the food was tainted she grabbed the chicken dish and said you come here all the time I'll take care of it she returned 15 minutes later with a piece of cheesecake NO CHEF NO MANAGER and NO OWNER who btw was waiting the table next to us to apologize or give some sort of explanation as to why the food tasted like it was poison I truly believe this was done on purpose I will never go there they showed no concern for the tainted food which later cause cramps and diarrhea they also sneak in a fee before tax therefore your being taxed on the fee if you use your credit card which is illegal

Fantastic food! Went with a group of 14 people and everyone loved their food (very unusual for everybody to be happy!). The Chicken Danielle, Gnocci Maria, chicken Parm and eggplant were all so delicious. Thanks for a great dinner!

Service was impeccable food looked excellent case full and delicious looking at open. Ambiance is fully modern feeling. Prices are just a little too high i got a specialty garlic knot and it felt like it doubled the price of my meal where my usual joint charges 50 cents to a dollar for a special knot plus was served cold with beef this can get you sick if you don't have a good gut. These gimmick garlic knots should bring people back to the business not steer them away due to high pricing lower your prices you'll see more faces returning for a slice weekly.

Highly recomendDelicious!!! We ordered via Door dash app and the meal was amazing!!! Everything arrived Hot, with warm bread.. The Stuffed Porkchops were great and we also ordered a dish with Pork Braciole?? It was so soft you didnt even need a knife, even something as simple as salad dressing was a homestyle version of creamy italian and that was amazing as well...Long story short, i wish i had more room....will be having a few leftovers Saturday and Sunday, i can tell you that much...Thanks again.
