Sometimes these dirty hole in the wall chinese places are the best. The wantons can use some more meat filling for sure. But in this area there really isn't much better chinese take out. Sadly, the Imperial orchid is garbage now. When they changed owners , long river and west islip is not the best as what people make it out to be And the buffet in north babylon is hit or miss either terrible or decent at best. I really don’t get all the bad reviews. Panda Kitchen is my go-to restaurant for Chinese food. Not only they have a good selection of the stir-fried classics, but they also have excellent Lo Mein, Chow Mein, Chow Fun and everything else.Maybe they could be kinder on the phone, but in general it’s always a tasteful and very affordable experience. I order there at least once a week.
I've been ordering food from here for over 3 decades. It's not that I don't like Chinese-American food it's I don't like the prices at this point. I can go to an authentic Chinese restaurant and eat real Chinese food, which tastes so much better, especially for these prices. I've lived in Hawaii.
