This place is amazing, don't let the name deter you away. I came here on a date night and thought the dog bar? I am a vegetarian and ordered the french onion soup and the vegetarian pasta with butter sauce. It was the best meal I have ever had. My date had the french onion soup and a filet mignon. He also said it was the best he has ever had. We will definitely be coming here again!
Took wifey here for date night. Atmosphere: Rustic and historic. There's quite a bit of history behind the building, and they display a lot of it around the establishment. Very cool...IMO. My husband and I went to the Dog Bar last Thursday. The person who returned my call for a reservation gave us a very nice table - I had wanted a quiet table for two. The waitress, Anne (I think I got the name right), was fantastic with a nice personality. She answered any questions about the menu perfectly and her timing with the courses was spot-on.
