This is a very strange Carvel location. When you go in the cakes are on the right with a sign saying, this area is closed. It is followed with sign saying that the cakes are not self-service, wait for help. The ultimate to me is that there are locks on the cases so you cannot pick one up. The workers seem to be in fear of the ever-watching owner who hoovers over them. Truly a terribly user-unfriendly place. I will buy my Carvel cakes in Shop rite, where they will put the name on it and I can pick it up to see it at a much lower price

My daughter (7 years old) ordered the wrong crunchies on her ice cream. I said I'm sorry she won't eat that she meant strawberry. Instead of saying I can scrape it off but have to charge you for extra crunchies she argues with me that it's what my daughter ordered. I was stopping my toddler from running out the store when she ordered so I missed it. Instead of arguing in front of my children we left. Thankfully McDonald's ice cream machine was working.

obviously the ice team is good,but they hella stingy like for they do small little scoops i rather go to the carvel in nanuet over there the scoops are way bigger they give u a lot and are not stingy , im literally paying i dont understand why u gotta be hella stingy

Definitely a rip off.. I pointed out the small serving in comparison to the photos and promotions. They did nothing to make it right 2 cones priced at $16. Never again

After Hoyers closed I wish there was another place besides Carvel . The manager (or the owner) is so nasty and rude . Her attitude to clients is out of control. Zero costumer service . The other employees are so nice is just her .

Each time I’ve been to this Carvel I always have a really positive interaction with the employees. They are all really kind and helpful, even the bad reviews for this place are along the lines of “the employees were super helpful, but-“. Carvel’s is solid, now that Hoyers is closed its basically the only spot to get ice cream, just felt I had to shout out the employees.

The employees at Carvel are very nice and patient with long orders from customers. Their recommendations for ice cream and toppings shows they know the combos. Last time we were there I was silly excited for their new flavor and the guy at the counter matched my energy and was hyping me up and recommended toppings and was just the sweetest. It really made my day.

Hi, I hope you remember how rude you were over soft serve icecream that no one asked for. Today my daughter went in to order a large cup chocolate ice cream. You were absolutely rude and distasteful when i expressed that she did not want "soft serve but hard served". Your answer was she did not specify but let me specify that your staff did not ask her, he just served it and she felt that she had to take it. When I returned 30 seconds later requesting the ice cream she actually likes, Ms rude manager chimed in with distastful responses over a childs order. Instead of being understanding.Today you had a Horrible management moment, I would hope you treat customers specifically children with more respect and or curtesy.Horrendous customer service!I could careless about price you were being very petty about ice cream
