Absolutely love coming here. Truly one of our favorite breweries ever - mountain views, friendly staff and patrons, music playing, fire pit, dogs, great beer - you really can't beat it. We almost didn't come here at first because it was out of the way from where we were, but so glad we did - it's 100% worth it to make the trip! The food trucks there are always fantastic too - just check their IG or website to see what time they leave (we missed them one time when we came later in the day, our fault). Added bonus is the brewery's merch is great - we typically don't buy brewery merch but their designs are awesome (and good quality too - have been wearing my orange and black West Kill beanie for years!).

Awesome place for a post hike beer. A nice selection with indoor and outdoor seating. The day I went there was also a food truck for some food options. I would recommend checking this place out!

What an amazing find i. The Catskills. Great menu selections for beer, awesome bar tenders, and truly awe-inspiring views. We will be back.

The beer is great but there is nowhere enough seating. And when it's snowing it's not fun being outside without a heater or fire because everything is full and the only thing left is one gazebo without anything to keep warm. Also the bathroom line fills up the entire inside. Things that need to be immediately fixed. You're super popular but definitely aren't built for it. I'd seriously think before I go back unless I know it's not going to be busy.

An absolute must-visit. Amazing beers, amazing views, amazing vibes. You can admire the beautiful mountains while hanging out by a fire pit, or go inside and enjoy a tasty beer while playing board or card games that are set out available to all. The staff and guests are always friendly and often have great stories to tell.Driving here is the strangest experience. You drive through beautiful mountain roads without seeing another soul. Then you arrive to a full parking lot and a lively brewery experience with people from all over. The beers are some of the tastiest you’ll ever have, and with a great selection brewed right here in the mountains using ingredients foraged locally. These beers are ones you can’t find anywhere else, they’re only sold in a small area here in the mountains.Regularly have food vendors serving things like lobster rolls or empanadas. All I could ask of the place is that they build a kitchen and serve more food so I can stay longer!

This is one of my husband's favorite breweries. Today we tried the Creekside(sour) , Dark hollow (chocolate porter), Brookie (light lager) and Tanbark (schwarzbier). The beers were excellent. We sat outside because we had our dog. They had porch heaters and two fireplaces outside. The inside is very cozy. They have a rotating food vendor as well.

Nice place, awesome view, great beer!

Good beer, great ambiance. Their food truck is expensive and runs out of things early in the day.

TL; DR: the (almost) end of the road is worth the trip. I've said it before: location matters when it comes to microbreweries. West Kill is almost off the charts in terms of both location, ambience, and of course, brews. Tucked way back on a road that provides access to Hunter Mountain trails (not for noobs, folks, you've been warned), and what looks to be a superb waterfall hike, you're treated to an amazing view of the Catskills from the brewery's cozy little deck. I would love to see it again in full fall peak color. The beers, quite simply, rock. There was even an oyster stout on tap when I visited -points for that. Plenty of to go options in the nearby retail space, and if you're lucky you'll catch a glimpse of the Insta famous Teddy The Brewery Cat. They have a rotation of food trucks on site, a fire pit and associated seating. Just a great hang after you bag the Hunter Mountain fire tower.

Chill little brewery with a nice selection of beer and cider, and a nice atmosphere. There’s a nice outdoor seating spot where you can park yourself with some friends sit a while. Would visit again.

What an unexpected gem on a dead end road on the backside of Hunter Mountain! Awesome beer all around, a food truck serving Puerto Rican/Ecuadorian specialties and board games galore. Lose a star for small glasses. Pints are standard across the brewpub world. You don't sell 12oz cans right? Gimme a friggin' pint people.

no credit card is accepted. cash or Venmo only. only offer food that is available from the kitchen. tables were not cleaned. food was served but the kitchen staff said utensils were not available. had a pulled pork sandwich which the meat was cold. disappointed.

What an absolute hidden gem. We ran Hunter mountain and thankfully managed to find this spot for beer and food afterwards. Super friendly staff, fantastic beer, amazing view, and a cool brewery cat to boot!! We checked out many breweries during this trip and West Kill was hands down our favorite.
