Great visit to the farm for a friend’s b-day trip — an amazing place to host a party with friends & family! We got to stay in the Hobbit House which was a blast. The farm is beautiful and everyone on the service team was amazing! See you again soon!

Last week we had the pleasure of celebrating my husband’s 60th birthday with 10 of his closest friends. We booked 6 cabins / huts and everyone absolutely loved it. The staff of amazing and friendly and ready to accommodate all the little details. We had a 4 day stay with numerous events. Brunch in the coop with a farm tour seemed to be one of the favorites as well as the pizza making class and time at the owners downtown loft where we got to spend time around his pool socializing. The Pony Barn was the perfect meeting space when nothing was happening. The food on site or catered to your room was top notch, creative and delicious. This was our third time on the farm and I was a little nervous bringing 10 guests but I’m so happy I did. They all loved it so much. We are booked again for November and we cannot wait. It’s a must do be it a day or two or 4. You won’t be disappointed.

Just attended the Taylor Swift event which was an absolute failure. The event stated that the movie would start at 7pm and it didn’t start until 8:35pm due to poor planning and failure on the part of the technician. There was no announcement or updates provided and no apology given. The June Farms staff completely disregarded the issue and acted as if nothing was wrong. It was disappointing to see the lack of accountability and the complete lack of effort put into this event. It felt like a money grab. I have loved June Farms in the past but I will think twice before attending another event here.

Driving to work one morning, listening to Z100, Elvis and his crew had just returned from June Farms and was gushing about their experience. I just had to do my research. I was blown away by their website and knew my family would LOVE going there. I booked The Lodge for three nights in August 2024. I had to reschedule. I was unable to do it on-line. I called Matt who assisted me in rescheduling for April 16, 2025. Unfortunately, a family member is seriously ill and we are not able to go to June Farms in April. I contacted Matt, via email, to see if I could reschedule, again. Matt contacted me via telephone advising that he did not have my reservation and nothing was available. I reminded him that he was the one who helped me change the date as I was having trouble on-line Clearly, he made a mistake. Matt said “you are in luck, however, as we only allow one reschedule and since we do not have you down in April, you can rebook it, on-line, and pay for it.” We PAID for this trip in August 2024. Matt said I would have to pay for the stay again, but they would reimburse me. That made no sense and honestly the conversation set me back. No apology. I lost interest. On March 12, 2025, Matt calls and says “I am calling because I have you down for a reservation for The Lodge on April 16.” I said “have you totally lost your mind?” I reminded him of the above and he says “this is why we don’t allow cancellations”. I said “people die, people get sick, things happen”. Matt was focused on money and stated “but you never paid.” I said I paid in August, 2024. I have the bank statement receipt. This is a farm. It is supposed to be warm, fuzzy, and kind, and unfortunately I experienced none of that. I have no desire to ever visit June Farm and I, honestly, I have nothing positive to say. I was not going to write a review but the disorganization is unreal and the fact that June Farm is keeping my money is dishonest and thievery.

What a charming place! Spent the weekend with our pup at the farm, staying in the wellness hut. The facilities are modern with a rustic charm. The staff are friendly and eager to share about their love of the animals. Many opportunities to get up close with the farm animals who seem to really enjoy the attention from the guests. We were there during “off season” so didn’t get to fully enjoy all the amenities but looking forward to making it back in the summer.

We spent one night at the pig sty as a mini-escape a few days after Valentine's Day. It was the perfect retreat. The hut was luxurious from the super comfy bed to the soaker tub and spa bathroom. Zero complaints! The farm looked beautiful under the winter snow, and we enjoyed our walk to visit the animals. It was a private, relaxing retreat that afforded the chance to rest and enjoy some time alone. Highly recommend!

We were invited to go along with family to dueling pianos night. Always a beautiful place to visit, but especially beautiful at Christmas. The entertainment was wonderful, fun, loud, noisy, and absolutely perfect.

Loved our winter weekend getaway here! We stayed at the Wellness Hut and did the Christmas brunch and cow brushing experiences. Such a beautiful, peaceful place! They went above and beyond with our accommodations. Definitely will be back!

Just another sad money grab. Such a shame.

My friend and I recently played with baby goats at the Beekman Farm, then llama trekked in Ballston Spa and did the farm tour. When cow brushing at this farm popped up, I was so excited! My friend's mother uses a wheelchair, so I messaged last night to see if she would be alright here. The farm messaged back that they have golf carts for people with mobility issues. We arrived a little after 11 a.m. this morning. Paid $10 each for admission. When we got to the top of the hill, we pulled over, hoping someone could help us with a golf cart. We were told we could not pull over in that spot. There is not any handicap parking. We had to park fairly far down a row, leave the mother in the car, and walk to the golf carts. There was a sign that said to scan the QR code. The wifi was sketchy so it wouldn't work. Eventually, an employee walked by and he helped us. (I thought the carts were complimentary for people with mobility issues, but they cost $60 to rent.) He even had to process the card twice because he had trouble with the tablet. We loaded up my Mom's friend, and the cows, horses, goats, ducks, pigs were wonderful. We did not get to brush a cow, as advertised, because the line was too long and it was cold. We went to the barn for our promised pancakes. We were told 15 groups were in front of us for tables (they don't take reservations). We took my friend's mom back to the car. We were told it might be quicker to order pancakes from the bartender. So we decided to do that and just eat them in the car. Over an hour later, no pancakes. And there is no place to stand that is out of the way. I was either in the way of people coming in the door, or wait staff, etc. Well after an hour, I was still waiting while my friend was out in the car with her mother. The bartender was still telling people that if they ordered pancakes through the bar it would only be a 15-20 minute wait. I asked an employee to check our order. He said we were still about 4th in line. A server came in with a big tray--she said they had been ordered at 11:51 and it was now 1:37. We ordered 3 hot chocolates at $5 each. I had a glass of wine which cost $15. So, between entry, golf cart, hot choc., and wine, we spent $100 and no "free" pancakes. We went to 5 holiday light shows last year in NY, Mass, and VT, and there will little fire pits set up around the properties and hot chocolate was free. We finally left without our pancakes and feeling like things were pretty chaotic and not well planned out.

This is owner's response to our 11.30.24 experience:

"I know, I’m sorry. We tried to anticipate who would show up but way more people show up than we expected on such a freezing cold day. We will do better next time, I’m so sorry you had a bad experience. It was certainly not my intention."

The following review is from 4 years ago--we just had the same experience, so obviously not rectified. Owner is either inept or this is a business plan to extract as much $ as possible with little concern for the consumer:

"Very disappointing Mother’s Day experience. "

Response from the owner 4 years ago

Hello, Ken. Yes, Mother's Day was CRAZY! Sorry you had to experience a day that was a little out of hand for us. We have decided NOT to conduct events in that same way where we give the customer the option of when to show up. Everyone showed up at the same time. We will change that moving forward.

Had an amazing stay at June Farms. The Wellness Huts were beyond expectations. Very spacious and well designed. The bed was comfortable and the location was great for staying with a dog. The farm is beautiful and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Joshua took good care of use on our ATV tour. It was obvious that he works hard managing the farm. The Pony Bar had good food and drinks and the bartenders and staff were great here as well. There were also so many dog friendly restaurants, breweries, and other places to visit in Albany which were only 15 minutes from the farm. We were even able to enjoy some farm fresh eggs right from the farm for breakfast a couple of days. I hope to be able to return again to visit June Farms!
