Balistreri's Pastries Plus

I LOVE the quality of this bakery! My first time visiting as a recommendation from a friend who regularly utilizes their catering. The best cannoli I've ever had is their sprinkle. The shell is SO delicious and the filling has a delicate flavor that exudes family tradition. I also am a HUGE fan of their chocolate chip cookie. The focaccia pizza uses a sweet sauce, which my husband LOVED. This is our new spot for treats, especially on Sundays 😊

Short of going back to Italy, there is nobody who comes close to making cannoli like Balistreri's. I don't care about much else. It's all about the cannoli.
I also get the eggplant dinner from time to time. I call ahead and they hold it for me.
Great service.

The loaf of bread I got was super stale, definitely wasn’t made fresh that day. The cannolis were okay, there are better ones out there. The black and white cookie was also stale.

Also they had a couple of dogs behind the counter where the food cases are. I’m not certain but I feel that is probably some kind of health code violation.

The ladies working there were nice however. If the bread wasn’t also stale I probably wouldn’t have wrote a review. The loaf was consumed within 3 hours of purchase.

Had been trying to find an authentic Italian pastry shop since moving from Utica, Ny in 1987, the so called cannoli these bakeries sell taste like whipped cream not ricotta what so ever, it’s sad when Wegmans has better Cannoli than bakeries, but I’ve found authentic Cannoli after 38 years of living in the Buffalo area, and the tomato pie is to die for, found this pastry shop as a last resort and I’m glad I did, the people who complain apparently don’t know what good Italian pastries should taste like, great, friendly customer service, and if u don’t like the way the floors look, blame the owner not the renter. Been coming here now for about 4 months and will be coming back again and again, sooooo good. Also the half moons are spot on here, chocolate on bottom not vanilla, ever have a Hemstroughts bakery halfmoon from Utica, very much the same except I believe hemstroughts uses dark chocolate for the cake part but the frosting is the same, fluffy cream not this lemony junk other bakeries try to pass off as half moons

Absolutely delicous. We ordered assorted Italian cookies and tomato pies for our wedding, everything was perfect!! You will definatly have to dive into the tomato pie on the drive home. It's too good not to. Everyone was very pleasant to work with. 100% reccomend !

The best Tuscan bread and pastries around. You won’t be disappointed.

We ordered a cheesecake for a family gathering and it was fantastic. Joanne and the staff were great. We added a couple canoli to the order because they looked great - and they were! Definitely going back.

I walked in thinking I was going to get what was advertised on your Facebook page. What a disappointment.
I walked in to a filthy store, the shelves with the pastries looked dirty, the pastries looked old and wilted, and the store itself smelled musty
I literally ran out the store.
I have no clue why the high ratings for this orchard park store. It has to be from family and friends.

I picked up cookies and pastry for a large get together and not only was the presentation beautiful but the goodies were delicious. The ladies there were very helpful and cordial. I brought my brother with me and he bought boxes of his own choices plus I bought bread for my husband and a couple of extra items. Exceptional!!
