I just called, because we heard they were re-opening. Their outgoing message states that they're closed for remodeling, but will reopen Jan 2024. No idea, obviously, as to what the new place will be like, but wanted to update the info on this site.

Sadly, I've passed by here probably thousands of times, and finally stopped in, only to find out that they're closing their doors forever. I really liked the cleanliness of this business and friendliness of the owner. She was recently widowed, last month, and is ready to retire this business. I'm writing this in case she reads this, I'd like to wish her the best of luck and that I'm sorry I didn't find this business sooner. May the future bring her peace and comfort in this new chapter of her life. Loved the chili.

Wow! What a cute place! Has all your grocery needs to support local! Purchased fruits and veggies here a few times now and always been fresh! The cashier lady was super friendly and we stopped for a little chit chat of the history of the place! Lots of cute antiques displayed around! Id honestly say it's the cleanest store I've seen! Repeat customers as it's nice to support people who are part of your community! There's a deli as well which offers meats and cheeses! Stop in and check it out yah won't be disappointed! Plus yummy baked goods to entice yah in! Really blessed to have a place like this around!

This store is overrated on their produce. Several times I’ve bought produce here and found out it was no good when I got home. They are also cutting back on things they have since they are trying to sell the store. I used to go here all the time but no more. The quality has taken a sharp nose dive.

I Love Country Peddlers! Best place for that "special meal ". Have FRESH ingredients, not overwhelming small intimate. Local and small business brands! Love it, shop local, shop small business!

Great little shop with lots of fresh produce, lunch meats and goodies. Super nice staff, clean and very organized. Will definitely be back. They also have an ice cream shop too with lots of different flavors.

Have great memories of this place since childhood. Went back recently, and it's just as great as I remember. It's a little grocery store - nothing as big as a Tops or Wegmans, but all the produce and food is much more 'local' - you will find some of the freshest stuff here, and it's all well-organized. Plus, there is an ice cream parlor attached to the place. What's not to love?

I have always loved this place! I buy my apples there every fall for pies, plus extra for eating. The prices for them can't be beat and there is usually a good variety. I also like to get a lot of my produce there, as it is fresher and tastes better. Worth the price, especially for the strawberries.

I live in East Aurora and go out of my way to avoid Tops. This store is an excellent alternative.The produce is very high quality. The meat department is excellent. Once I bought some chicken thighs and when I got home discovered they were spoiled. I called the store, spoke with the owner and he immediately said toss them and he would return my money. I was impressed by his concern that I had spoiled meat and he definitely did not want me to get sick. Second he without question considered my concerns above his profits. I tossed them and as it was a miserable day weather wise never returned for my money. Several years ago I went to this store and while there badly needed to use a bathroom. The same owner immediately took me to what was labeled an employees only bathroom and I was amazed at how clean it was. I think it was the only bathroom. Who knows? My point is the cleanliness and concern by the owner made me a frequent customer. I have noticed several comments alleging that the owner mistreats his employees. I do not believe that the owner I interacted with would do so.
