The worst meal we have ever had that was $85. The chicken and waffles had an atrocious flavor profile. The My Boy Blue burger had this horrific fishy flavor. We also got the nachos and added chicken that had no flavor, for a whopping $19. My guy typically finishes everything; he ate half the burger, and I ate barely half of my sandwich—he took a bite. The waitress never asked if we liked our meals, never came back after delivery and never asked if we wanted to-gos which we would have told her no and how awful the meal was. They were however Pit friendly and accommodating with our dog.

I ordered fish then they say sorry we are out of fish so I ordered pretzels they came out as hard as a rock not a friendly atmosphere this year there We have been there in past years no issues Will not go back again They have a gold mine there they just need better service and management

Owner degrades all of his employees and talks to them as if they are dirt. He will fire employees the chase them out of the restaurant all while degrading the in the process. As a former employee this happened to me. I would hate to see it happen to any more people than it already has !

This was an awful experience. The place was unkept & dirty, my soda had food at the bottom of the glass (so gross), it took forever to get our food, the coleslaw was sour & had gone bad, the corn was wrinkled & old, the Mac&cheese was old & disgusting & the pulled pork was burnt and literally not edible, plus, everything was cold. I’m not sure how you mess up corn bread but it was so dry we couldn’t eat it, on par with everything else. If I could give it zero stars I would. We will never go back.biggest waste of $50 ever.

Fine little gem! The food was fantastic (took a little while like good bbq should) and the servers were fantastic. Great location! We got the Oink Fest platter with turkey, keilbasa and brisket. Everything was delicious! 😋

This place needs a big turnaround. I’ve been here 3x in 20 years (or about that), and every time I’m disappointed, which is a shame because it’s a great location and the only bbq spot in town.
The big problem is that they really don’t seem to have fresh BBQ. They could BBQ fresh, but our plate was obviously reheated in a skillet with lots of grease.
The wait staff is great though, and a good spot for a beer

Meat was dry and flavorless. Bloody Mary was watered down, didn't even taste like tomato. We didn't get one of our food items until after we were finished eating everything else. Never got any refills on water. I can't recommend this place less.
All the staff were smiling and friendly. Very welcoming. The food? Meh. Corn on the cob was overbooked, but cold. Pulled pork was cold. Cornbread was stale. Nachos were soggy. Cocktails were weak. Sweet potato fries were hot and delicious we had high hopes

We were at this restaurant last year it was fantastic. We came back this year with 12 extra friends. We called ahead since such a large party ( 24 ) for lunch on a Friday. Only 10 other people in restaurant I ordered a coke, I was told we may not have that. Waitress came back with drinks including coke. Were told no pineapple or peach to make margaritas ( which we had last year). Placing order I ordered Mac & cheese bites (on the board as a special today) was told I got the last order. I asked for a refill and was told I got the last coke. Bartender outside is separate and not able to give us his cokes or water ( his words). Our apps were cold. Waited 1 1/2 hours and still did not receive anything but apps. Told that boss called and asked how things were and they told him out of everything and his reply was “ I’ll be in later”. Poor waitresses tried but were lacking in customer service and avoided us like the plague. We paid for our drinks and the cold apps and left and cancelled our orders. Absolutely horrible experience not customer friendly at all. Very sad that the “new” owners let this happen to a great spot by the water.

Out of items on menu including drinks food was brought out uncooked when asked for a manager was told just talked to owner on phone and was asked how thongs were going waitress told him not good and would be back later. Originally was told he was out getting soda. Owner was clearly trying to avoid confict when story changed as to when he was to be back

We had eaten here years ago and enjoyed it. This time the food wasn’t as good. My boyfriend’s fries were totally dry and his burger was just OK. I liked my quesadilla , but the pork was a bit dry. Overall service was slow. Judging by the reviews it seems they are reheating the meats which decreases the quality significantly . We will be back because the atmosphere is great and the food still had potential.

We arrived 30 minutes before closing after a long day of driving with kids on a family road trip. We were treated so well and everyone went above and beyond to make us feel welcome despite the late hour. The food was great but the service was excellent! It’s right on the beach and there’s plenty of things for the kids to do like play volleyball or corn hole while waiting for the food. They also gave our little food and let them feed the fish in the pond. I would recommend them to anyone and if we are ever in the area again we will make sure to stop by 🩷.
