takin the long way home from a weekend away....rite about lunchtime......perfect spot on a busy road ..big lot for truckers.....tells you they are good....quaint little diner....a little dated ...but the people and food more than make up for it...reasearch shows they are known for thier baked goods....cant help you there ...they looked and smelled good...but we just had lunch...they give you so much ..we had no room for dessert....home made and exactaly as ordered..
real messy...but thats what napkins are for....they will give you extra...reading all the reviews while we waited summed up what we got ...REAL GOOD home made food...in a neat little road side diner that did not dissapoint....if ever we find our selves out that way again..would make it a point to stop....10 of 10 ..
and save room for thier baked goods...
oh yea and get a pic with sasquach....there is supposed to be a story there...
Parking: very large ...lot...enough for truckers to stop...

The Big Apple Diner serves food with big taste and friendly smiles. I had the grilled chicken patty and a side of delicious sweet potato fries. Absolutely delicious.
The Michigan dog and the soup of the day, bacon cheddar corn chowder, was said to be very tasty, per members of my party. Glad we stopped here!!

One of the few gems left for roadside diners. Food was a basic order of eggs, etc., but it was exemplary! Three hardworking, friendly ladies ran the joint. Wish this place was on a route I traveled more! Definitely a must stop if driving thru! And has a lot for trucks to park next door!

One of our favorite spots to stop on the way back from. Lake George! Great people, great food and the PIE!! It's too bad they are only open until 2, but if you are in time, well worth it!

Nice country-style diner without the cramped seating of some "traditional" diners made in the 50's. I'm in a power wheelchair, and although there were a few obstacles (chairs and barrel on the ramp), I managed. The food and service were excellent; I ordered a meat-lover's omelet that was really stuffed with goodness. They easily did my special no-carb request (no potatoes or toast). Very friendly, a lot of regular local customers which I like to see. Only slight negative for me was that the bathroom would not allow my wheelchair in, but I parked it and hobbled in. It was spotless. This place has a special relationship with a local Big Foot legend, hence the image outside! Maybe Big Foot was seen eating an apple... that would explain the name on a restaurant closer to Canada than New York City! But I enjoyed it and will be back.

Pleasant mom and pop shop, great for a casual brunch or lunch. Try the breakfast quesadilla.

Got stuck sleeping a few hours in my car at the end of the lot over night. Decided to wait around for them to open, nobody bothered me. Warm welcome, polite and fast service. Stepped out for a smoke after ordering, went back in to hot food ready for me to eat. Food was amazing, left stuffed with some leftovers, and I eat a lot. All for $14 bucks. Easily could or been satisfied for much less.
A shame to see it so slow, I will most definitely save this location for the future. Thank you

The staff are okay, atmosphere 1⭐the place is rundown. The prices are low but you get is what you pay for low quality food .

Bad experience. Some words of wisdom for the kitchen... a dirty grill means the food you make will also be dirty
