Wrong order..only made good on soda..should have been diet..got regular..also garlic pizza..it has sauce on it..may be my mistake..BUT NEVER AGAIN..

I don't know what all these positive reviews are about, or why I saw so many customers, but this was a disappointment, and that is being generous.I ordered earlier in the day for a later scheduled pickup. I was very much looking forward to some upside-down style pizza and tenders a reviewer said were fantastic (or something to that effect). I arrived about five minutes early, and my pizza was done, but my order of Buffalo tenders was not. I know this because the open kitchen and seating layout allows you to hear most everything. About 10 minutes after my pickup time, my tenders were ready and my order was brought out to me. I was a little annoyed since I placed my order hours prior, but it wasn't a big deal. I understand places get busy.I was within a 1 minute walk, so I was excited for some fresh hot food. Well, what I got was warm upside-down pizza(?) now tasting more like tomato pie. There was plenty of sausage, a full layer across the entire pizza, but I couldn't taste it. For the matter, I couldn't taste much of anything. I don't know where my onions are, because I certainly can't taste or feel those in my mouth. The crushed tomato sauce just tasted like wetness, not even water, just wetness.Reviewers warned against par-baked dough, but I've made, eaten, and used dough like this in the past those mostly came out great. But this was just flavorless, chewy bread.I was so excited for the Buffalo tenders following my disappointment with this pizza-like food. I know when they're tossed they soak up some sauce and become less crispy, but these were already pure sog, just wet bread and tough chicken. They forgot to include my bleu cheese dressing, so I walked back over to get some. I was given my forgotten bleu cheese with no contest, but the bleu cheese could not save the chicken.Most of this meal ended up in the trash and I'm left wondering what establishment I should brave next considering my continuing and prevailing hunger. Save your money; I should have.

Order was for a medium sausage pizza. When I picked it up I was told they made a large in error but would only charge the medium size price. Fair enough. However, once I went home to eat it, it was obvious the crust was twice baked which made it difficult to chew. Pizza was tasty but the crust was terrible.
Absolutely the best pizza I have ever tasted. My grandfather used to buy us this when we were younger and I'm so glad I've rediscovered it.

The pizza wasn't good. The picture looks like it was good, but it wasn't. Crust was so crunchy it felt like I was eating plywood. Also, it appears that the pizza crust is a pre made shell, so a 20 dollar pizza isn't even made with fresh dough. Will not be returning.

Sooooo full disclosure I grew up a block from this joint! I have had their pizza, wings, and desserts since I can remember! They have what's called upside down pizza. If you haven't had upside down pizza then go to Joe's first! It is hands down my favorite pizza EVER! I have eaten pizza everywhere in the world. Now this may sound strange but the sausage is made into a paste so every bite you take has sausage. Even though the ownership has changed the old owners sold the recipes with the pizzeria and the new owners haven't change a thing, that I can tell! If you want a great pizza and something a slight bit different get a large sausage pizza from Joes!!!
