Living nearby I've tried them a few times. Twice sat at the bar and wasn't seen or spoken too for 10 minutes. The waiter seemed oblivious to his surroundings and watching him total up a bill was astounding how long it took. I would give anything for the old Bevs diner who previously owned the diner. The waitresses were on the ball, fast, friendly and efficient not to mention attractive. Things always go backwards in this odd town.
Hope you have a better experience ,the food is average. Go to Symeons for the real deal.

This restaurant is run by a husband and wife, and they serve Syrian and Lebanese food. The building used to be an old-fashioned diner. It's a nice little place.

Such a hidden gem! From the moment we walked in, the service was warm and welcoming, and it truly felt like a home-cooked meal. The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. I ordered the chicken shawarma, which was delicious and well-seasoned. One of my daughters had the chicken kabob and loved it, and my other daughter had the chicken tenders, which were great as well perfect for kids. Everything came out hot and tasted amazing. To top it off, we were offered coffee at the end, which was such a nice touch. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive throughout our visit. If you’re looking for great food, generous portions, and a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere, I highly recommend this place. We’ll definitely be back

Really outstanding Greek food. We had the chicken kebab and shawarma. They also had a hot dog and fries for our son. Great baklava too.

My wife and I stopped in for dinner and it did not disappoint. Clean and unassuming diner atmosphere. Fantastic Greek and Middle Eastern food, run by a family that knows it well. Service was excellent, attentive but not overbearing. We were checked in on regularly by not just our server but everyone working, who all were genuinely interested in our experience and all thanked us when we left. 3 apps, 2 entrees, 2 drinks and a to-go dessert was less than $60. Fantastic hummus, olive mezze, and spinach pie; fresh and crisp Greek salad, hearty beef & lamb shawarma platter and a falafel wrap my wife could barely get through half of and is already excited to finish tomorrow. Definitely worth checking out!

Absolutely fantastic food and service. Clean, unassuming little family-run place with a simple menu of Greek and Middle Eastern specialties, all delicious and extremely affordable. Our server and the rest of the staff checked in on us multiple times and were genuinely interested in our experience, and all thanked us as we left. Excellent hummus, olive mezze, and spinach pie, fresh Greek salad, hearty beef & lamb shawarma platter and delicious falafel wrap with hand cut fries that were crisp and perfectly seasoned. Could not have been any better.

Mariam’s is an absolute treasure — hands down some of the most delicious Mediterranean food I’ve had in a long time! Every dish is bursting with fresh, vibrant flavors, and you can truly taste the care that goes into each plate. Absolutely mouthwatering.

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff make you feel like family the moment you walk in. Whether you’re a longtime fan of Mediterranean cuisine or trying it for the first time, Mariam’s is a must-visit. Generous portions, and unbeatable flavor — you really can’t go wrong here.

Highly recommend — we’ll definitely be back!

This place has serious diner vibes with the best lamb kababs and stuffed grape leaves I’ve had in CNY. Everything is made fresh to order and you can taste the love and pride in the preparation. Sit at the counter or at one of the handful of tables.

Unbelievably friendly family. Hands down the best lamb kabobs and grape leaves I've had in the area by a mile! You could sense how prideful they are and it definitely shows in the food!
