Il Nocello Ristorante Italiano

One of the best Italian restaurants I’ve been to. Dining experience was excellent, choice of entrees, pasta's, appetizers and desserts were all excellent. The calamari was delicious, the soups either lobster bisque or New England Clam Chowder was delicious, the Salmon and chicken dishes all first class and the tartufo for dessert was large and tasty. Service and atmosphere are a plus. Highly recommend

il nocello in whitestone. that place hits different when you’ve got memories tied to it. i used to go there with family birthdays, sundays, those half-formal dinners where everyone’s smiling through something.

it’s not fancy. never tried to be. dim lights, warm air, that old italian comfort. the pasta comes out hot, the veal parm never misses, and the portions could feed two lives. the waiters treat you like family even when you’re just passing through.

but what sticks isn’t the food. it’s the sound of it all laughter that’s not yours anymore, the quiet between bites. il nocello doesn’t change much. it’s steady, familiar, honest. the kind of place that reminds you where you’ve been and what you’ve lost.

I been here at least 100 times since it opened. Place is the best of the best in Queens. Amazing Food, great service, and they deliver. I order maybe 200 times in addition. My fav place in Queens

Food is really good but service has a lot to be desired, especially when they get a little busy. We were a table for three and ordered apps, entrees, wine, dessert and coffee and still asked to vacate table because someone was waiting on our table- oh forgot to mention- there were other open tables. Are you kidding?
