Generally the food is okay here but they use the lousiest chicken and it's not just this place it seems to be all the places the cheapest rottenness vain chicken I don't know why they do that they would make more business if they use better chicken because then they lose me

Jan 2025 update:
Ordered general Tso's chicken. Very flavorful. Love how Keilly's maintains the traditional Chinese chili spice and chili oil. Not spicy at all, but it adds a unique traditional chinese flavor mixed with the American flavor. Out of my 20 yrs eating chinese food in queens, I've never tasted general tso's chicken that does it right. I have tried soho china town chinese food, but keilly's is different. You get a good balanced of the spice flavor throughout unlike other places where they throw a piece of 1 inch chili. Chicken is not undercooked, not over cooked very delicious.

Been going there for decades. Used to be the best. Recently however, it has been a huge disappointment. Food is undercooked, tasteless and yet prices have increased. Need to find a new Chinese restaurant.
I had something that I had not had before. General Tsao shrimp. It was very tasty and different than I had ever before.

Update to prior reviewKelly's has long been our go-to Chinese takeout, but unfortunately, it's not anymore. The last few times we ordered have been disappointing, but we have continued to order because everyone can have a bad night. Well last night was the end of the line for me.Beef lo main - dry & practically inedibleGeneral tso chicken - just okFried dumplings - dry, no dipping sauce sent with themBeef with oyster sauce - bland and with the added bonus of black hair in it. And no....I'm a redhead, my husband is bald & our cat is white so it wasn't one of ours.So now we start our search for a new Chinese takeout fave in Bayside. Any suggestions?
