Very disappointed....no soup dumplings...steamed dumplings were very good, but we missed the soup dumplings.

Vegetarian options: Dry sautéed string beans; tofu dishes

Wheelchair accessibility: Restaurant is street level. No steps. Restroom is on same level.

Excellent food, generous portions and prompt service. Soup dumplings were amazing! Even the tea was great. No need to go to congested downtown Flushing for authentic Chinese food when you can enjoy it here in Whitestone with easy parking. Glad to have found this local gem.

This is a hidden restaurant haha.

The price is reasonable and the taste is really good~

I usually eat mapo tofu here.

It's authentic mapo tofu, so if you don't like spicy food, it's best to avoid it!

food is good but i just walked in here to eat with my mom and the guy rolled his eyes and yelled they are closed and pointed his finger towards the door for us to leave. It was very rude and uncalled for. These people have lost a customer thanks! Such an unpleasant experience i have honestly never been treated this rudely in a restaurant.

A traditional Chinese restaurant on the East Coast of the United States.
Nowadays, Chinese food that retains this nostalgic atmosphere is rare.

The food is seasoned with the flavors that Americans like, but since it's Sichuan cuisine, dishes like mapo tofu are quite spicy.

I really like the atmosphere inside the store and the customer service from the staff, which has an 80's feel to it.

I would like to continue doing business here forever.

We've wanted to try this place for a while. It looks like an American Chinese food place but they have really decent szechuan dishes. Price is better than Flushing and quality is great. We've been back a few times since.

Food is good, except I bit into a piece of rock that was in my rice. I thought I broke my tooth for a second. Please wash your rice more carefully.

I've been eating here for a while now, and I am proud to say Legend of Taste is one of the most authentic Szechuan restaurants in Queens. The dishes are incredibly spicy, though pairing it along with a soup or rice dish will help you tolerate the spice.
