One can always judge a diner from their coffee. In this case, a great cup of steaming hot coffee. Delicious food and fast, attentive service.

The price is average compared to other diners in the area. Love the atmosphere. It feels cozy and intimate, not fancy. I've visited several diners in the area, but I keep going back to this one. It's just nice.

It's a normal diner but man is the food the bare minimum. If you order a burger, it's literally just the patty between two buns. There's no lettuce, tomato, onion, ketchup, mayonnaise, or pickles and fries. This place is like the monkeys paw of a restaurant. If you order a steak, you better ask it to be cooked and be from a cow. Can't take anything for granted here.

Been coming here a while and the place is rather clean, prices have gone up overtime but it's good food so sometimes it's worth a stop in. Depending on what time you go it can be a bit crowded so food could take a bit longer to come. Overall definitely coming back.

While visiting my friends in Queens we decided to get a quick bite in (Whitestone) after our visit from the World Trade Center. I tried their Meatloaf Sandwich which was really good. It was moist and warm in a paper wrapping with a good dill pickle on the side. My buddy ordered a Fried Egg Sandwich with a slice of American Cheese, he liked it too. Our waitress was a hoot and fast with the comebacks, she reminded me of Flo "kiss my grits" on the Mel's Diner TV show.

The food was great but little bit pricey. There’s a free parking lot which may or may not be full depending on the time. It’s located inside the shopping center. The bathrooms were very clean and the service was excellent.

Best Bagels in the neighborhood! When it comes to Bagels, I am extremely picky, they always seem to be too hard for my tasting. The bagels at lollipops are delicious!! Me and my husband love coming here for breakfast on Sundays.

Horrible diner and owner is scammer! Food was dry and tasteless and we paid cash but owner charged c card amount. We asked correct amount but owner refused. Because they refilled the coffee!Isn’t that diner supposed to refill your coffee? We’ll definitely not going back again!

This dinner is scam! We paid cash but they charged c card amount. we asked correct the amount but owner refused. And owner says "we gave you guys refill your coffee so we don't have to give you money back!". Isn't that diner supposed refilling coffee? And he was very rude and nasty. I'll never go back!!!

This is a review about the owner of this diner. My friend's mother is 87 years old. My friend was walking with her mother past Lollipop's when her mother sudden became weak and could not walk. My friend asked the owner of the diner to borrow a chair for her mother so that she could run home and get the mother's walker just around the corner. The owner refused to loan her mother one of his many chairs and actually said..."she's standing..she looks fine". Her mother ended up falling and hitting her head. Thankfully she was ok after the fall, but with zero thanks to the owner of this diner. I was so disgusted by this story that I had to share it. I will never give this man my business. How heartless to you have to be to refuse to help an elderly neighbor in trouble? All I can say to this man is....Karma will pay you back for this act of cruelty.

Food was just ok, if overpriced. But sandwich was light on filling. Omelet was dry. Everything was "just ok" until bill came. Then it really went downhill. Supposedly, got a 3.5% discount for paying in cash. Cash price was listed as the payment amount. The cashier guy with the owner standing next to him rung me up for the credit card price. I politely pointed out that I paid in cash and the owner said the waiter (who was nowhere near) told him that he added a charge for something after the bill had been printed. They also pretended not to speak English until that ruse disintegrated. "Exqueeze me?" as Wayne on Wayne's World would say? I can tell they've practiced this nickel-and-dime con before (the one star reviews kind of confirm that), so I said I'd wait for the new bill. Well, neither the bill nor the waiter (who probably had the integrity not to lie for the owner) ever came out. So we finished our coffee and I asked again. The owner said we had coffee refills. "Exqueeze me? They are free." "Well, you got a pickle with the table." "Exqueeze me? We didn't ask for one. And that, and the teaspoonful of cole slaw you brought are generally standard at diners." They put so much effort, even doubling down, to cheat us out of a few dollars, that it's clear IMO this is standard operating procedure here. He then just basically dismissed us and refused to refund the overcharge. I think he thought we were tourists, not locals. Now we won't come back and we'll be sure to let everyone know what a cheap ass cheater this owner is. If you go, check your bill. This scam is happening too much in restaurants all over, not just here.
