Got mushwarma bowl with Israeli salad/cous cous, chickpea salad, baba ganoush, tabouleh and cauliflower. Enjoyed. Also had hot mint tea.

I’m a chef and have been exploring food in NYC for 25 years and nana’s is my favorite new place serving some of the freshest and tastiest middle eastern sandwiches. I wanted to try everything on the menu. Things not to miss are the Sabich and Malawach. Try the fries too! Everything was so fresh and perfectly seasoned. The owner and staff were so hospitable and friendly!

We were hosting family at our house to celebrate a holiday and I had heard that the food from this restaurant was great! I looked at the menu online and found the catering packages. My first question was- would they deliver to my home which was not near the restaurant - or would I have to travel some distance to get it, so I called and was lucky enough to speak with the owner Gina who said she would absolutely deliver a catering order to us. My next question was about the chicken dishes- I wasn’t sure which I’d like and Gina invited me to come by before making the order to taste her food. I thought I’d show up and there’d be one fork with a piece of chicken shawarma and a fork with a piece of chicken shishlick. When my husband and I got there, she presented us with the most amazing tasting plates ever!!! Gina was beyond generous to do this for us! We placed our order for the following day and the food arrived on time and warm. It was huge hit!!! Everyone loved the food: salads, falafel, Moroccan cigars, chicken shishlik and shawarma, basmati rice, Couscous, pita, humus and dipping sauces. It was wonderful every step of the way and highly recommend!!!

Always a pleasant experience when we come here. The staff is always friendly and they offer great suggestions when not sure what to have. The food is always fresh and amazing. We're so lucky to have this neighborhood gem!! We. Love. Nana!

Without a question the best shawarma sandwich I’ve had. This place always hits the spot and the owner is great! My girlfriend and I have been here at least 15 times this summer alone. I could eat here everyday. Falafel is amazing chicken is tender basically everything here is so good and fresh.
