Amazing authentic mexican food. Everything I have ordered from here has been top notch and the decor is super chill and laid back. I don't think you could find a bad dish here if you tried. The service is great and the drinks are also spetacular.

Best Mexican spot in Queens. Camilo is the best A++++

Surf and turf is fire. Frozen daiquiris are delicious. Guacamole and chips. And they are super fairly priced. I would give them 10 stars if I could. Come here and support a local business with great food and staff!

Been getting take out from here for a few years now. I love their pollo and al pastor tacos with the chipotle aioli. Decided to dine in for the first time here with my family for my birthday recently. The service was amazing, very friendly. The food was excellent as always, tried the wings and nachos for the first time those were really tasty. The desserts were great too, my family especially enjoyed the tres leches cake. Highly recommend!

The waitress was very friendly. The portion size was generous. It was a hit or miss with the food. I found some of the appetizers could be better like the chicken wings which to me wasn't fried enough or baked enough. The restaurant is very small and the chairs are very compact. Parking was also a hassle so if you want to give this place a try, you're better off taking a cab.

Ok maybe there are items that are good at this restaurant but the vegetarian burrito I got was unbelievably bland… I went with this spot instead of Zhumi which looked more authentic because Taco Azul had a options with a meatless crumble, which I typically enjoy as a [fake] vegetarian. The person who answered the phone asked me if I wanted the lunch special and I said yes, assuming it would be a deal. She asked me what side I wanted and I picked a side salad (which was the best part of the meal), then she told me it came out to $20. I was confused because a regular burrito is $15, and an extra $5 for a small side didn’t seem like a discount. I’m looking at their website now and the lunch special is supposed to be $16 which would make a lot more sense, so either they raised their prices or I got scammed. Anywho I wouldn’t have felt like I got scammed if I actually enjoyed the burrito. It was literally 70% rice and barely any of the vegan meat I was looking forward to (it also was barely seasoned). On the phone I asked for regular cheese instead of vegan cheese and I couldn’t detect either in the burrito. Just so much rice. Their salsa is barely spicy (might be a good thing for some) but the chipotle mayo was honestly good, made the burrito edible. I also decided to get a burrito when I usually prefer tacos thinking it would be easy to eat on the go while working in the field. Boy was I wrong, the burrito was wrapped so crazy, like it wasn’t sealed so the copious rice was just spilling out, so it was even messier than if I had gotten tacos. The picture I attached shows the end of it (where there was actually a better ratio of beans/crumble to rice than in the middle), but you can see how it was rolled like a roll cake instead of wrapped like a burrito. The interior of the restaurant is really cute and I could see it being a nice place for a date or happy hour. But the food… idk just def don’t order the vegan burrito if you like flavor

Honestly if I had to choose a Mexican restaurant for the rest of my life. This would be it. The food here NEVER fails, I usually go for brunch but went yesterday for a dinner and I had the enchiladas verdes and it was superb. The food is always good here, my boyfriend loves the aguachile and I usually get the chilaquiles. The drinks are always good. I would 10/10 recommend. They could use a little more music to spice up the place but the service is good. The employees are attentive, especially the lady with the glasses, I almost thought she was the owner.

The food is fresh here. I always grab the chicken burrito. Every single time I ordered it, it has been fresh. I was a bit surprised. They are not stingy with the quantity of food either. The lady at the front is attentive and friendly. Sometimes you have to wait a little bit when the place is busy.

Taco Azul was packed when we went on Tuesday night, but we managed to grab the last booth around six. Right away, we could tell this was a spot people love.

We started with the nachos, which were a great choice. I tried the grilled fish, salmon taco and the Baja fish taco on blue corn tortillas, and my husband had the Baja fish and Carne Asada on corn tortillas. Everything was packed with flavor, and the passionfruit margarita was absolutely perfect. The salsas were a highlight, especially the orange one, which was fiery and delicious.

There was only one waiter for the whole place but they were clearly working hard to take care of everyone. It was our first time here, and we’re really glad we finally stopped in. Definitely a place we’ll be coming back to!
