its a little confusing because if there is a line, there arent any numbers or anything. they yell next and you have to figure out who goes next. we have been getting lunch while at work and its great. big selection.

Neighborhood staple, in the City, too. Pastrami, Egg and Cheese on an Everything Egg Bagel, BEC (Bacon, Egg and Cheese), and TEC (Turkey, Egg and Cheese) on Wheat. All housemade Bagels so they're fresh and ready to go. They do other breakfast items, if needed: Pancakes, Homefries, etc.
Plenty of street parking.
Service is congenial and as swift as can be.

Came here because of the internet hype. I already have my favorite neighborhood Queens bagel shop, but have an open mind. First impression. Very busy. Parking was tough too. I think we came in with the crowd. Once you get used to the process to order its ok. But for a first timer it can be confusing. Any one of the multiple people behind the counter take your order. Then you wait, there is no designated waiting area, for the person to show up at the counter so you can get your order and pay.
I went with the Nova scotia lox and creme cheese on a everything bagel. The lox portion was generous. Overall it was delicious. Not saying I would come back again for a lox bagel though. I will keep looking. Maybe I will try an egg bagel sandwhich next time. This place is set up like a factory.
Update. Still find it hard to find a spot to wait for your order. A lot of shuffling around. I hate the line situation.

There's no place in the tri-state area that I would drive 30 MI to go to except this one.

This place has been a Queens staple for years. The bagels are perfectly hand made. Good crisp on the outside and wonderfully soft and chewy on the inside. The line may be very long, but its worth it. Also don't worry the fame and press jas not ruined this place.
The lines are always long but worth it.

Whats up with tiny bagels? All the flavors were small bagels. Its a NO for me never again. If you are looking to cut carbs great but these small bagels is not NY.

Great bagels 🥯, plenty of choices on sandwiches, etc.
We went ahead and came back and got their HUGE bagel pizza, all I can say is it's amazing what these people can do, it's a bagel the size of a small car tire made into a pizza, and the taste, and crunch just simply off the charts. Cheese so thick you need scissors ✂️ to cut it. Definitely impressed I must say, and definitely not for the faint of heart 🤣🤣😂😂😂. I highly recommend you try this one ...if your wallet is heavy, you won't be disappointed. Thanks Utopia for the amazing service, amazing Bagels 🥯, and amazing Pizza Bagel 👍👍👍👍

Been here a few times, and each time I was hoping my experience would be better. I usually try to be fair with my reviews.
This place has become grossly overpriced for what it is. There are many more bagel shops in the neighborhood that are just as good and are glad to have your business.
Visited in person, greeted the servers nicely and repeated my order and was told to stop talking because they got it. When I reminded my server that I would like to everything bagel to go, they continued to say they got it. When I got home, I had two plain bagels in the bag.
I also ordered a flat everything with just pastrami salmon, nothing else on it, and I was charged $15.95 for it. I was ok until I unwrapped it saw the little amount of salmon in the order. Here is a photo of what I received. Between the service and the unfortunately small portions of food, I can’t say that I would be back.

We ordered an Asiago Bagel and a The Freak sandwich on Jalapeño Cheddar Bagel. The bagels are all plain bagels with toppings… and a small amount of cheese and my Jalapeño didn’t have Jalapeño in the bagel!!! The place was packed and service was quick… for bagel options in NYC this is basically it sadly… I thought NYC was the birthplace of bagels.. but sadly have had better other places in US!
