Small diner in converted home across from abandoned Willard Insane Asylum. Also just down the street from state prison closed in 2022. Lots of vacant properties as well as historic connected cemetery closer to the shores of Seneca Lake. I had a specially burger. I am pretty sure the pattie was not made in house, nor, probably, the onion rings. Nevertheless, it was a clean, happy place, and my daughter and I enjoyed our meals. The prices were remarkably cheap. Only place around to get a good meal.

For a hole in the way this place is 5+ stars. Staff is great and food is plentiful especially for the price. Will be back again, it’s got a nice home feel to it. Very clean and festive in time for Christmas. Food was hot and fresh looked like a commercial.

The perfect gathering place after our family's annual Veterans Day memorial observance at Holy Cross Cemetery in Ovid, NY. Many of our veteran ancestors are there. As an added benefit, it was originally called KT's; a legendary place in our family history. The place where my parents first met. The current owner and staff are a joy! So friendly and full of life and love! There were 17 of us and we could not be more pleased with our experience. We all left with joyous memories! We found this quaint, homey, mom & pop diner on our way home from an overnight in Hector. My wife and I stopped for breakfast and had the breakfast quesadilla. It was delicious, and the service was prompt. What a nice little hidden gem.

My husband and I had 2 EXCELLENT experiences at Rylee’s Diner. We are from out of town and If we lived closer, we’d be here often!
The food was delicious. We highly recommend the meat lovers omelette with rye toast. But you can’t go wrong! We also loved Rylee’s sweet treats!
The service was exceptional. We had a warm welcome immediately and appreciated the personable host, our waiter and everyone who helped us! A true family run business!
Don’t skip out on having a good meal at Rylee’s. We will be back!
