Small diner in converted home across from abandoned Willard Insane Asylum. Also just down the street from state prison closed in 2022. Lots of vacant properties as well as historic connected cemetery closer to the shores of Seneca Lake. I had a specially burger. I am pretty sure the pattie was not made in house, nor, probably, the onion rings. Nevertheless, it was a clean, happy place, and my daughter and I enjoyed our meals. For a hole in the way this place is 5+ stars. Staff is great and food is plentiful especially for the price. Will be back again, it’s got a nice home feel to it. Very clean and festive in time for Christmas. Food was hot and fresh looked like a commercial.
The perfect gathering place after our family's annual Veterans Day memorial observance at Holy Cross Cemetery in Ovid, NY. Many of our veteran ancestors are there. As an added benefit, it was originally called KT's; a legendary place in our family history. The place where my parents first met. The current owner and staff are a joy!
